Well, Fozzie is a simpler design than Gonzo so there should be less to mess up on him. Gonzo looks off mostly because of the nose, at least to me. Animal's eyes do need a change though. His eyes should be right up against each other, side by side. That wide part in the middle totally throws...
I saw someone do a photoshop edit on Gonzo in this thread and it made a world of difference. Gonzo's nose needs to have a foam like texture. I mean if they can't make his Nose out of foam, then I don't want to know what they will do to Piggy. Plus the uniform color of the nose as it is just...
The fat joke stuff isn't recent at all. Remember the pigs in space episode where she threw off the ship's balance? Or the episode where Kermit cancels her number and she goes on a diet? Or in Muppets Take Manhattan where she says something like "oh dear lord not jogging"? It's not new at all.
I thought the puppet looked good. Far better than stick figure piggy we've seen. The audio was bad so it's hard to comment on the voice one way or the other.
Well there was a public appearance by Gonzo (Dave was there to :P) and Gonzo said there was something happening that he wasn't allowed to talk about. Who knows if this was it or something totally different.
From what I understand Frank Oz shows up for 1-2 days of taping each season and does some stuff. I like that he does it. I'm glad he is a successful director, but it is too bad he isn't really with the muppets anymore. I think this phasing out started with the Jim Henson Hour or earlier. I...
Well MTM is the movie I think of when I think Rizzo. That is the movie that made me take notice of the character. He was good in MCC, but I don't think of MCC when I think of what defines the character.
I'd like the muppets to take on some issues like they use to. Like the anti-war stuff they use to do in the 70's. I think we could use some good old fashioned peace songs again. Same Eagle is the perfect character to use right now too. I mean, that is what I love about the muppet show. The...
Very true. Actually it's very muppets tonighish. Muppets Tonight had a lot of good but the stand-by of humor became bad puns and poor delivery. Puns are great when used sparingly, but Disney does nothing but that with their shows and I think that might have been what infected Muppets Tonight...
That's some cool news. I really like the way the fraggle merchandise is being put out. The box sets are a good deal imo and the cd sounds good. There is still am ovie in the works right?
Yes I know they will attract an audience, but at what cost? I cringe at Zack and Cody talking to Kermit. The disney star act poorly and rely on bad jokes. Sorry, just not a fan of them. It said to see the muppet go from the likes of Bob Hope to the likes of Hannah Montana.
Good that they are doing new stuff but the part about having Disney channel "star" cameo's made me cringe. I mean I get that the muppets have to use current stars, but why the manufactured disney channel teeny-bopper ones?
Who knows why, and like i said it's only a guess. It's possible that the patterns were bought by Disney from the Jim Henson Company but Puppet Heap actually made the piggy molds themselves. The patterns are more intellectual property while the molds are something Puppet Head made themselves.
