^^^Well, there was a fraggle reference on "Friends" once. That was awesome.
I think it's kind of sad and uncreative when people do that. Some people think Lewis Carroll must have been on drugs when he came up with "Alice in Wonderland". Jeez...it's called "originality", "imagination"...
Well, you gotta note too, that the fraggles simply shake their heads at not understanding these "odd little doozers", and that is a big difference between trying to destroy or enslave them, lol.
Gobo and Matt love exploring, yes, but Mokey isn't "too content" IMO. She likes exploring other ways, is open to new ideas and phenomenons, and likes to make an altruistic difference in the world (see "Invasion of the Toe-Ticklers" for one great example).
With her being the most mature and...
I'll go even farther than heralde.
When I was a kid, I hated the doozers. And I mean HATED!
Really!
I did!
:grouchy:
I thought they were stupid and pointless and a complete waste of air time. But you have to understand, I was THRILLED with the fraggles, and I didn't have HBO. My...
Woo-hoo! I love Bear, this is indeed awesome news. In my book Bear is the best children's show since the 1980s. It has qualities reminiscent of "Dumob's Circus", "Under the Umbrella Tree", and wonderful shows like those back in the great '80s. It also has that "PBS" feeling with the intimate...
YES IT IS!!!! :D
I think they did a fantastic job with the sound. In some of the cave scenes you can really hear the echoy-cavey sound their voices have when they talk, and I LOVE it!!!
Really!
I do!
:-D
Oo, thanks heralde...question on "Play Along", are there any classic Forgetful clips, or is it mostly new stuff?
And does anyone know if this clip is on any DVD? It's tied for my favorite alphabet segment (along with Madrigal Alphabet---oh, and that one with the kids who make up the letters by...
Hey fellow Street fans...
I have a question, and it's kind of weird maybe, but wanted to see if I could get any help/suggestions here.
What SS DVDs do you recommend for a nostalgaic fan like myself?
Okay, let me get a little more specific for ya, lol.
The only DVD I have is "Old...
Hey Count and others, thought I'd share the results with ya here.
I posted a thread to her directing her to the thread where I posted the link, and she said,
"Okay, I'm going to get the kleenex for this. For realz.
By the way, Byron, I'm professing my love to you before I even go...
I think using the title "Sesame Street: Old School (1969-1974)" means there will be a season 2. If they had simply gone with "Sesame Street: Old School" with no dates, it would seem more like that were a testing set. But I have a feeling a 1974-1979 set will be in the works---and I sure hope so...
