    Are Kermit and Piggy married?

If you look at other "on and off again" relationships in tv you pretty much always see that once the characters finally get together the story fizzles and fades. Thats why they get together near the end of the series or they get together only to fall apart. You need that conflict to keep...

Mayhem Mini Figures for sale on eBay

Looking at the Corgi ones again I remember just how disappointed I am with them. They just don't look right. The proportions aren't anywhere near right. They look like humans with muppet masks on.

    Are Kermit and Piggy married?

I believe that the plan was to have Kermit and Piggy finally be married, but I believe that after Jim Henson died that story line got rebooted and we went back to Kermit not even acknowledging a relationship and Kermit and Piggy at the moment seem to have been rebooted in age as well, making...

    Boardinghouse or apartment building?

Actually I'm not sure i like the idea that they all live together. In TMM they all had separate lives. Everywhere you turned there was a muppet leading a regular (sort of) life. In GMC Piggy, Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo all lead separate lives. Kermit, Fozzie, and Gonzo only lived with the...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

I think the Rizzo/Gonzo friendship came about because Kermit Fozzie and Gonzo wasn't really happening since the Jim Henson Hour. Frank started leaving his muppet work as far back as the Jim Henson Hour. Then in MCC Kermit, Gonzo, and Fozzie never got a chance to interact. In MTI their...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

To me that just reeks of trying to be hip for the sake of being hip, the very thing people complain about in MWoO and AVMMC. I was watching AVMMC today and noticed how many parts of that special are already dated. While the main story holds, some of the jokes are just dated and over done...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

Why? I don't see how that serves the story in any way.

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

One, is gay a proper noun? Two, Howard the pig's character is that of a stereotypical gay man.

We see them leave. They went somewhere during that time.

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

I think something that would have made Piggy's absence better would have been scenes of her in the Caribbean, alone and having a horrible time without Kermit. Also it would have been nice to see the band on their vacation having a horrible time. I think had the special been longer we would...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

It looks and sounds to me like Sam was performed live in that scene while Fozzie was dubbed. The dubbed voices always sound too clean these days and the voice doesn't quite sync up. I'm not sure what it is, but the sound work for the muppets hasn't been so great in recent years.

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

After watching this special (yes, special not movie) again I see a LOT of good. pros: -probably the best thing of all is that the muppets starred. Like AVMMC, this was the muppets show. -the songs. I liked them. What's in Your Heart with Fozzie and Kermit and Gonzo was a good song as...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

I think faith shouldn't even be brought into a Santa discussion. Someone believing something and making it real to them personally is religion if we are talking about God. If we are talking about Kermit you better make sure you realize he's still a puppet. Suspending disbelief is great, but...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

When the muppets go on interviews do the performers go out and say "hey, this is my character now let me do some jokes" or do they go out as the characters. Did jim Henson guest host the tonight show or did Kermit and the muppets? Did Jim Henson throw the muppets a movie premier party for the...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

Having a fondness for Kermit is not having faith. Faith is a belief that something is true that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. Religion is faith based. Kermit is not something you can have faith in. You are using strong words. You may like the character, you may even love...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

And thats what I'm trying to say. You can have Santa as a real person in the muppet world if you handle it correctly. I don't think it was handled correctly. For the most part the muppets exist in our world. They play by real world rules, except for being talking bears and frogs and chickens...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

I'm not saying you are wrong for liking it nor am I saying I didn't like it. I'm saying the adults came off as childish and that the way Santa was handled made the show come off as childish. I enjoy Sesame Street Christmas specials, but I don't delude myself into thinking they are not childish...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

I'm sorry but I can't even respond to someone who believes in Santa. You are saying, as an adult, that you love Santa. There is faith and then there is delusion. And yes, there was a St. Nicholas, and his ideas of generosity are represented in the modern Santa. However, that is different...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

you said it yourself, the the muppet doubters weren't doubters at all. In this special it was an accepted fact that Santa is real, lives in the north pole, has elves, the whole 9 yards. Are you telling me that the adults in this special didn't seem like children to you? The security guard...

Your Thoughts: Muppets Letters to Santa

We aren't talking about the same thing. You are talking about what the idea of Santa represents. This is not what we saw in the movie. We saw the coca-cola santa. And i said faith in Santa is a lie. Kids are told a man in a red suit comes into their house at night and leaves presents...
