Today I went to seven yard sales, one held in a church basement, another in a liquor store parking lot, and yet another in our local college gym. (The others were held in regular yards)
I scored an old Parker Brothers (1977) MUPPET SHOW board game, complete and in FANTASTIC condition (no rips...
It seems to me that they just decided to change the voice for the second season. Basically, it doesn't really make much of a difference since Heath was only used for intros and one song sequence during the first seaon. They got him a little more involved in the show during the second season...

I admit the Central Square Goodwill isn't the best.. it changed managers about a year ago and they don't have as much stuff as they used to carry..(Used to have a whole LINE of tubs filled with stuf going halfway up the store. It was bedlam fighting it out with the other junk collectors! LOL...
Actually, also, with fall on the way a lot of area churches begin to hold yard sales and holiday Bazaars. I've found a few muppet items thru those, too. so it mught be a good bet to check around for those as well as yard sales in your local paper.

These Days Warner Brothers/Hanna-Barbera prefer to have voice actors "SHARE" roles, as opposed to having one...

Actually, Elmo was hilarious thruout the whole thing..It's not the Elmo character I hate but the overly cutesy material they give him. If they'd just let Elmo have more of an "Edge" like all the characters used to.. An edge long dulled since Jim Left..Elmo would would have even MORE fans than he...
Like most others who went to Muppetfest, it was meeting Sweetums , But some years earlier, when Sesame Street was doing special college visit at harvard Square as part of its 30th anniversary, I briefly met Elmo and Kevin Clash (as in talk to them close up for a couple of minutes) Sadly, i had...
I can GUESS why they canceled the show.
They figured they have enough episodes of a popular series to rerun forever, so why spend any more money?
Cheapskates.
