I agree with KissesToKermie. I don't think it was offensive, per say. But it was still a ridiculous comment. When trying to show respect to someone, especially when the Holocaust is involved, I don't think it's smart to say: "I hope they would have been a fan of me". He was just being stupid...

Last night's Community episode was a Puppet episode. Overall, the episode was a flop, but the puppet segments were pretty funny. They replaced the human actors with all puppet versions of themselfs, a shtick that was recently pulled by 30 ROCK. You can watch the Community epsiode here...
