Muppets Now, Episode 5
Lifestyle is as boring as ever.
This incarnation of Muppet Masters wasn’t mindblowing but it was fun and I laughed a couple times. Deadly’s theatrical flair and Walter’s (somewhat nerdy) awe is a great duo.
I love Pepe’s show. It’s just so zany and he really sells it...
Not looking at them could just be a trait of hers, a lot of people avoid eye contact while talking due to anxiety and such. You sort of stare off into space so you can better focus on what you’re saying.
But otherwise... yeah. I think it was a bit more creative what they did this time around...
Muppets Now, Episode 4
I don’t have many thoughts. It was a very average episode. Nothing much stood out. I will say that Kermit and Joe were the absolute highlight of the episode. I burst into a smile as soon as they rattled off their spiel. And I thought Muppet Labs worked kinda well as a...
Can I get a source? What is the mark of the beast and how is it able to be put in vaccines?
Vaccines don’t cause autism. There is no correlation whatsoever. The doctor who proposed that theory has been discredited and disproven long ago. I had a bunch of vaccinations when I was little, and I’m...
Can you explain why you believe that the vaccine is the mark of the beast, and why you’re anti-vaxx? I always assumed that the mark would come in the form of a computer chip of some sort, not a vaccine. And I don’t understand the reason for being against vaccinations.
It’s so people can more easily refer to you by your pronouns, and so trans people can feel at ease in places dominated by cisgender people (which is most places).

Muppets Now, Episode 3
To sum up this episode in one word: fine.
The Swedish Chef piece? Fine. He didn’t go crazy, the salsa joke was kinda good, but it was really more just a cooking show with him in it. Didn’t offend me, but also wasn’t great... it was fine.
The Muppet Labs...
The Latin Script, Part III:
Even More Letters
Now that we’ve covered diacritics, let’s look at some of the unique letters in use around the globe. Let’s start with Icelandic alphabet’s two classics:
Þþ (Thorn) & Ðð (Eth)
There’s an alternate universe somewhere where these two letters are...
C.S. Lewis has an absolutely brilliant quote that I love, using 1 Corinthians 13:11 to anchor it. I’m including the full quote for context, and highlighting the best part.
Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be...

Muppets Now, Episode 2
It’s almost like everything I disliked about last week’s episode was straight up removed. This episode was legitimately great. The format still works. Every single skit was good to great (Piggy’s being the low point, but not a bad low point). The commercial...
Of course they’re ostracized, and Christianity, like it or not, is a big part of why they are. If evangelicals weren’t so uproariously antagonistical to gay couples in the 19th and 20th centuries, the suicide rate for LGBTQ+ people, who are called sinners by a world of sinners, would be down...
