Yes they are. My local comic shop has first ed's of all the issues and I've slowly begun collecting, starting with the "Robin Hood" issue (just because Newsie has a good role in it!) -- but I skimmed 'em all and they look fantastic, and better...

All the Muppety t-shirt-ness from a little while ago in this thread is inspiring me. I am definitely painting my own News Flash shirt to wear for the premiere!

If you're already considering skipping out early on Thanksgiving dinner to see The Muppets in a theatre...assuming the day-before show is sold out!

Gonzo's special: grilled peanut butter and pickles. Trust me, sounds weirder than it is! It actually kind of works, and goes well with tomato soup! Though not being a peanut fan, I use cashew butter...which may actually be funnier...

"Ob-la-di, Ob-li-da." In a way happier mood than I should be, probably!

I recall him most fondly from his supporting role as himself in "Wings of Desire." Sweet and funny. I'll light a candle for ya, Peter...

Bizarre nightmare this morning. Something about witnessing a group of shady monsters masquerading as humans, carrying out a policy of silencing others while driving around what looked like an old London neighborhood in weird...
Part Five
Just as she reached the closed door marked with the international symbol for radiation hazard and a sign proclaiming COLD FUSION IN PROGRESS – PLEASE KNOCK FIRST!, a loud explosion sounded from within. Concerned, Gina paused, then carefully knocked on the door. It swung open, then...

Anyone else think Paul McGann wasn't given a fair shake? The DWTVM was sooooo bad...but he was wonderful. I've heard a couple of his Big Finish adventures now, and he's good, a believable Doctor.
Which reminds me: anyone else know of...

Welcome in DramaQueenMokey...though I'm sure you've been here a lot longer than I have! Glad you decided to post.

"Four words too much"...that make such a difference when spoken and when heard. Very nice, Effie! Keep going!

Fantastic! So much gushy stuff here that I actually LIKE -- and yes, that's saying something. I am the consummate cynic most days...on the outside, anyway!
Howard and Thoreau! Rowlf and Foo Foo! Goodbyes, farewells, and pleasant dreams to...
Part Four
The acrobats seemed a little unsteady, and Gina made a wide swerve around them as they wobbled in a human pyramid. It seemed absurd to her that the heaviest member of the troupe would be the one they catapulted to the top of the six-man stack, but maybe that was all part of the act...

To add: favorite quote...anything involving "reversing the polarity of the neutron flow" (I think Pertwee musta said that at LEAST once an ep, and I was delighted when the new guys revived it)!
Runner up is a new one, and it's barely a quote...

Hee, hee, hee...
Now THAT is a hat!

Doctor: Pertwee. (Although I have to admit a love of Tennant, and hey, Eccleston was kick-butt.
Companions: Sarah Jane (still mourning), the Brigadier (ditto), and Harry...though Rose was actually a well-thought-out character.
Era: hmmm...much as...

Dang girl...you're shaming me!
Eh...I remember the day when I used to be a fast writer...*adjusts lumbar brace, honks into hankie*
Yay! More NEW STUFF TO READ! Thankyou!
*hangs over edge of Ru's computer desk by nose and fingertips*...

I'm not going to weigh in-- er, pun not intended -- on the obesity issue very deeply here; I have seen ample proof that the young 'uns around here, at least, are typically overweight and lazy and often spoiled, even the lesser-paid folks...
