I used to know some guys who've watched R-rated films and played M-rated video games at that age. I played my first M-rated game at 14 and seen my first R-rated movie when I was 15.:)
Hey, everybody. Got some important news.
Looking at my schedule for the summer to probably the rest of the year, the upcoming third Spidey/Muppets crossover might be last "MM" story I'll do for a while. I've got two other fanfic series lined up for two other message boards that I've been...
Yeah, I caught it a long time ago, back when I was sitting in the movie theater watching it for the first time.:)
Eddie Brock is also referenced in the novelization of the first movie, having a bit of a cameo and mentioned by his full name. J. Jonah Jameson unwittingly makes an ironic...
Actually, Frank Miller wrote the graphic novel to 300. I'm not sure who wrote V for Vendetta. But if I were to compare it to any other film, in regards to the way it was developed and the amount of violence included, I'd have to say Sin City, Frank Miller's other popular graphic novel that...
I've seen Chronicles of Riddick, but 300 is nothing like that, at least in my opinion. If it seems that way, it's only because some directors may have based the materials in their films off of graphic novels like 300. The movie is actually inspired more from the events of the ancient Greek...
Yes, they do a lot. Much of what's going into the Eddie Brock character for the third film is based on his "Ultimate" character, even throwing in the "Jr." part.
It'd be a big surprise if you could find any issue of it more less than a hardcover copy, C.G. The comic only ran for two years (1985-1986) with just twelve issues in all.
I never thought of that, Count. I haven't told her yet about Stanley, the cousin of our fictional characters. It'll be interesting to know how she'll react if I were to tell her that her character's cousin is the Muppetized version of her real-life brother.:)
Haha! By next month, we'll both be the same age, at least until her b-day comes sometime later in the year and then she'll be a year older than me again. Of course, that makes sense in regards to the continuity of "The Marvelous Muppets" series, because Lori Thomas is older than my character...
They were actually kind of cool, especially the one package that includes both Spidey (in the red/blue costume) and Venom. My only complaint is why does Venom look so purple in both the toys and the picture books. The guy's black, not purple.:p
Well, if the movie's going to be rated R, then evidently the comic book is no different. Meaning that the graphic novel must be R-rated itself (or maybe more than that).:)
No prob.:)
I checked my local Wal-Mart store earlier today and thought that the action figures were already released. But it turns out that only the walkie-talkies for Venom, Spider-Man, Sandman, and The New Goblin are out, along with some Hot Wheel cars.
Can't wait until the 24th though...
Here's an official announcement just posted from Hasbro, the company that'll be in charge of the Spider-Man 3 toyline:
