I actually have a question about the patterns from Puppet Planet. I'm considering buying one and I think I will lmost definately buy the pattern for the basic sock puppets at some point. However, I have seen patterns, such as the one posted previously and one in a book I currently have from the...
Wow! Gobo looks menacing in that picture. That's rather disconcerting. But I like the emotions portrayed on everyone.
As for the face that Wembley makes, I always thought he made it as a reactionary face. I'm trying to remember in exactly which situations he uses it but it kinda reminds of the...
I've been wanting to do this for a while and I finally found an old photobucket account I have. So, this is a thread for the puppets I make. I'm hoping that it'd be a good way to see what you guys think and improve my puppet-making skills with each new project.
So here's the first one I made and...
I tend to cry at everything these days and I wonder if I would cry at this episode if I had seen it as a kid. Just as a kid I used to have a more disconnected response to things like that, or a simple faith that things would work out. Watching this episode I had that same faith but it was...
Ahh, I see, that's cool, thanks for sharing it. Those look like something you can find in a craft stre, I think I have but I can't be sure. If I see something though I will totally let you know.
Oh, you know what! I bet you could find something like that in the fabric section. That look sliks...
Don't worry about it all, I am too. I'm just going off what little I know and have done so far so you might wanna take this with a grain of salt.
I took a boa (not a feather one but one lile this http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/fluffy-boa-208249/), cut a peice off and it worked really well...
At kung fu today our instructor said something to the extent of "Make your hand a weapon," and I swear he sounded just like Boober when he said weapon, not just in voice but in inflection as well.
I know a lot of people use parts of boas that you can get in pretty much any craft store (I've used that before). I'm pretty sure I've seen peacock feathers at Hobby Lobby before. I'm not so sure about ostrich feathers though.
What do you mean we don't do crazy stuff? Have you missed like the first 25 pages of this thread :insatiable:
Boober: What Rowlf meant was that we shouldn't do zany stuff
That's not what rolfy meant
Boober: Darn it.
Would anybody like a muffin?
Hiya CoOKiE. Happy B-day. Hope it's a great one.
*wheels out giant cake! With lots of candles which are in no way indicative of age, lotsa candles are just fun*
The other thing I was thinking of when I saw that part was the idea that sometimes death gives way to life. That wouldn't be too surprsing because I've seen other movies and shows where they allude to soemthign like that. At any rate I never really thought of the lizard thing as a replacement...
I kinda took it as a way to not end the episode on a terribly sad note and to find a way for Wembley to resolve it more. I kinda thought it was cool. Bah, the fact that that's Richard just makes it sadder.
