Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I've explained that I can either hide my lip movements or speak intelligibly, and then told them about walking around with a puppet and having people completely ignore me and talk to the puppet. When I did a show for some little kids, afterward some of them even hugged the puppets, completely...

It was a warm and sunny day. It was a perfect day for being outside, picnicking, tossing a frisbee around, jogging, puttering in a garden, sunbathing, or any of dozens of other outdoor activities.
Unfortunately, Scooter was doing none of those...
Hmm. I guess if I have to use a last name it'll probably be Grosse. Oh well, by the time I'm through with him he'll have more on his mind than a sucky last name.
Next part coming up fairly soon. I spent about a week revising & rewriting the outline because one idea occurred to me that crystallized the whole theme, which is good in that it'll make the whole story stronger, but it did slow things down. (It might tick some people off too; we'll see as the...
Isn't "sold" the simple past tense of "sell", which would indicate that something did happen in the past? Methinks it would be more appropriate to use the past unreal conditional tense, which is used to express that something that could have happened if circumstances had been different. "Would...
Here I go again, ready or not! Here's a story that takes place after Muppets from Earth, and is called...

Kermit the Frog bounced onstage, in front of the Muppet Show logo, and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Muppet show...
I hope this is not another film that revolves around the human characters rather than the Muppets. Especially if it involves them auditioning--we've had such good luck with that plot before.
I bought my MC set on ioffer, and was not terribly impressed. A lot of the episodes were poor quality, or truncated, or would not play at all. In many cases, the videos I snagged from Youtube were better. But what can you expect for less than $30?
To those who don't know me well, I'd either be a Zoot (quiet and oblivious) or a Gonzo (an intelligent nutcase). However, to my friends I'm more of a Scooter/Fozzie: Scooter's bright-eyed enthusiasm and energy combined with Fozzie's insecurity and desire to make people laugh. Add a touch of...
SQUEE!
If I'd been there I would have been flipping out too. Oh man, I'd been hoping someone would report on this. Thank you for posting. (I also wish some footage would show up on youtube; the other live Q@As I've seen with Gonzo and Goelz have been priceless.)
I hope that this swings by...
Oh wow. Aside from the "CGI-toon-in-real-world" shtick which I have become so sick of, how would they pull this off and remain true to the character? Pepe is so very Non-PC. Can you imagine how much they'd have to water him down to avoid protests from those who don't like his over-the-top...
I intended these to be simple little slices of life to close a chapter of Gonzo's life. The benefit show happened between my fingers and the keyboard when I decided Cathy needed a reason to be in town other than the show. Didn't want her to come across as stalker-ish.
However, I have been...
That webcomic was supposed to last 7 22-page issues and go to print. However, they pulled the plug less than halfway through, forcing the writer to wrap it up as best he could, which is why there are a lot of dangling threads after that "deus ex machina" ending.
If you go to the "creations"...
Behold the pelvic gyrations of my victory boogie!
I'm one of the hardcore, old guard fans. I'm the perpetrator of Slack & Hash's Domain, which has a positively embarrassing amount of my fanart and fic and videos and User knows what else, and I finally have something new to put on the front...
Lil0Vampy: Thanks. Actually, these are the only chapters I have planned for this little arc. I felt a little bad about not giving Gonzo any closure on that part of his life, so I wrote these to correct that issue. However, there's a possibility I may write another series in which these scenes...

It was a dark and stormy Monday night. Well, actually it wasn't. It was warm and a little humid, but it was a Monday.
Tonight's show was the last of this week's set. There had been no disasters onstage or backstage. Most would...
Wow. I just finished watching this, and when I log on I see this thread.
I liked the film for two reasons: I love heretical satire and I love a train wreck. This film is both, and it doesn't pretend otherwise. It is a festival of glorious awfulness. That said, it is hard to watch at times...
