I think you might have been thinking of two seperate clips. Hoewever this clip features the room with the fish mobile that you were talking about. This is where Bert tries to remind Ernie of something very important that he needs to take with him in the laundry basket in order to do laundry...
There's an old clip on the Sesame Workshop website with Herb trying to explain how a W is an upside down M. The letter keeps turning upside down, changing from a W to an M until it finally refuses to turn again and stays as a W. So to prove his point once again, the camera turns the stage upside...
How frustrated you must be! :grouchy: A similar thing happened to me years ago when Frank Oz was visiting a movie theater that my brother-in-law worked as the MANAGER! I think he was promoting one of his movies from the early 90s. Same sort of thing--- He told me about it weeks later in question...
That's a good question. Every time I was there, they seemed to be busy. Due to them selling items for both kids AND adults, they pretty much covered everyone. There was something for the Sesame fan in all of us! :) You'd think SW would have been all over trying to keep it open. Who knows...... :p
I went to the Sesame Street General Store many times when it was still around. Unfortunately, I think all the stores closed in the late 1990's. They were kind of like Disney Stores you see in the mall, except they were Sesame themed, of course. You could buy items for both kids and adults...
I just wanted to briefly say that I know where you are coming from. You didn't mention if subbing was something you were doing until you landed a full-time job, so I don't know if that's your goal. However, I will tell you from experience that even as an experienced teacher, it's hard to step...
My sweet Brian,
My heart is right there with you at this difficult time in your life. I pray for your and your family's comfort and for God's hand to be upon you right now, nurturing you and lifting you up. I know your dad is watching over you right now from the heavens and smiling, knowing...
This Hubley classic used to give me the willies as a kid, especially since it seemed to generally come on before Sammy the Snake (who I was terrified of). It's fun to watch now.....

As a lifelong resident of the Seattle area who has been living there since I was born (and the year the "My Dad is a Busdriver" clip was made), I guarantee you those signs are real as real can be. ;)
The word they were spelling was "Hotel Empire", which is located at 44 W. 63rd in New York. It's still standing to this day and looks pretty much the same from the outside. I heard they recently renovated the inside and it's now quite a snazzy place. It even has a swimming pool on the roof for...
I know for a fact that several current MC members, Xerus, mikebennedict, fuzzygobo and I (as well as I'm sure a few others who are regulars here) were there with you on the Sesame boards at YL and remember it fondly.
Here's a suggestion: Scan the archives of Yesterdayland.com and resurrect...
I'm soooooo happy to announce that my dearest friend in the whole wide world is the big 4-0 today. Please join me in wishing him the happiest birthday ever. Love ya, Gobobabes! ;)
Funny, just a few days ago, fuzzygobo pointed this out to me. It seems that the conga player from this clip (and the one with the rolling wheel) responded to the post made on YouTube.
User "mikeyboyart" writes, "I PLAYED CONGAS ON THIS FILM AND THE LOST WHEEL!WOW!These two films were shot by...
If I remember right from my trip to the Smithsonian years ago, the garbage can that Oscar was in was originally used on Sesame Street, as well as the "CTW Sesame Street" lamppost sign that's featured next to him in the display.
You have to be at least 38? Oh really? ;) (Okay, give me another couple of months and I'll be there....)
Oooh....this is tough. Okay, well here are a few faves.
Five Monsters in My Family: When I was a kid, I would laugh my head off every time I'd hear this song on my Monsters LP...
Ten is impossible, since after creating this list I thought of a whole bunch more. But here are some faves:
Zizzy Zoomers- As a child, I remember watching this in my livingroom with the curtains pulled on a dark morning. The room was dark and the combination of that and the colorful Zoomers...
