Hi everyone.
I'm making a couple of humanoid puppets out of regular ol' polyurethane foam. It's that 3/4 inch thick mattress stuff...not the egg crate stuff, but flat and that basic yellowish foam color. It's better quality (or so the package stated) than other foams, and I got it at...
Picture of "Popcorn" Scooter from GMC--please help
Hi, everyone.
I'm getting ready to email a friend of mine, and I'm trying to collect web links to the three times where Scooter sells popcorn in TMM, GMC and TMTM. (I'm trying to prove to him that Scooter sells popcorn in all three movies...
Just to clarify, I didn't make that Electric Company site. I'm just a fan of the show. I had the site bookmarked, and when I clicked on it yesterday, I was saddened to find that it was closed down.

Hey, thanks, guys!
An open mouth...makes sense. It'd probably be more flexible too.
Reinforcing the interior of the head...yeah I'll look into that. Even though this puppet wont get a lot of hard use, I'll take your advice on using a bandage on the inside of the mouth.
And oh yeah...
Check it out, folks!

Well, I started writing those letters way back in early June (some in May) and I figure I would have heard back from more of them if there were concerns...especially from celebrities who aren't as popular today as they used to be (Dom DeLuise, Garrett Morris, etc.).
I know some celebrities...
No, no...it's not that outfit! LOL! :D It's based off of another old Muppet gag, though...it has to do with ;) actually. I'll reveal more about the project in the upcoming months. It might be finished around Christmas.

I think they're brown, too. I'll check a few more photos just to make sure, though. Thanks for the reference to the Richard Hunt page!;)

Hi, everyone.
I'm working on an art project that features a lot of people, including Muppeteers! You can read more about it at this link:

My question is, does anyone know the eye colors for the following Muppeteers?:

Hello, everyone. I'm working on a puppet that will have a mouth that will be just a slit in the foam, like how 's is.
Is there anyone out there that has made this kind of mouth...and if so, are there any tips or techniques I should follow? I've never built this kind of mouth...
Okay, we know about those ultra rare Kermit and Rowlf Ideal puppets from the 1960's. But it has been rumored that a Snerf was made as well. Rowlf even mentions them in the original commercial!

So, uh, did they actually make a...

Who Should Be the Wizard???
We haven't found out who's playing the wizard yet, have we?
Hmm...maybe if we look at the original film, we can figure it out. Let's see, the "Great and Powerful Oz" appeared to Dorothy and the others as a bald head that announced that he was Oz.
Now if you...
Don't forget this clip!
The clip where we find out Fat Blue's name is Mr. Johnson! Grover is delivering singing telegrams but keeps singing the wrong ones!
Grover: "Twinkle, twinkle, Mrs. Star. Would you like to buy my car? From Ed. How's that?"
Fat Blue: "Do I look like a Mrs. Star...
Well :smirk: we'll just have to see. Hopefully they won't cut 'em out this time around. I'm gonna program my VCR just in case. It's worth a shot.
