Thanks Skye. Yes, no matter what we are great buds and that's awesome. :)
But a lot of good stuff today with my time with her, so may still come about like you say. I asked her to let me know anytime she wants to go for a walk together when the weather starts getting warmer. She said sure. If...
Well it is 63 now, even better than the forecasted 60. I just enjoyed a power walk. It's real sunny too. There is a gusty wind but at 63 it still feels pretty good. I took a chance without a jacket and felt good enough. But didn't wear shorts. Can't wait when can do that again. Feels so...
And got more wonderful time to treasure with her at work today. :) But also :( at the fact that it just doesn't look like I will be getting her for a gf anytime soon, if at all. I was using my break time to help her today and she said, "I really appreciate this but I feel bad you're giving up...
Well, the meteorologists were wrong - we got absolutely no snow whatsoever last night. At least I had no snow to shovel. And at least it made for easy driving. But....... no getting to give my sweetheart a ride. :(
But happy to have gotten to spend a lot of nice time with her today at work...
Wow, and you even said it left you feeling sad when you were little. That's too bad.
It's like, when I watch that scene to this day when Big Bird is struggling to face and deal with Mr. Hopper's death, it brings me to tears. But I guess if I shared that with some people out of here they'd...
I think some of these characters were more one purpose type muppets. Like Sherlock Hemlock only appearing in segments solving cases (though he appeared with Bert in a Jon Jon clip that had nothing to do with solving a mystery). And Don Music in his playing the piano and getting frustrated skits...
Wow, I didn't realize some have actually gotten such unkindness from others about talking about or still liking and/or watching SS.
The worst I've gotten is some looks that are a little weird or some light laughter that border on the ridiculing kind.
Like Fozzie and others say, a pox on...
Now get this: We're supposed to get a coating to an inch or two of snow tonight into Saturday morning. Now last Friday we got 3 inches of snow and there's a woman at work I really like who doesn't like to drive in bad roads (even the slightest snow or sleet). So I offered and got to take her...
It's also very nice to see the backwards film back on youtube again. Thanks Nanto!
It's yet another one that I enjoy to play in the background while surfing the net. Great fun to listen to the music throughout. Of course, it's also a very impressively done visual to see.
Good to have the rock a bye baby song with the Koala bear on youtube now. It has extra special significance to me because when I was like 5 or 6 in the early 70's, the voice (who I now know is amazingly by Carroll Spinney) sounded like an uncle's of mine and I thought it was really him singing it!
My niece has a little handheld one with Oscar at the top of the game itself (shaped like a trash can) and the little screen has various trash items and you have to let them fall in the correct place; regular trash or recyclable. But it's a game of this decade, not a classic handheld. I'm not...
I really love singing and hearing, "What's the name of that song?" too. I've sung it outloud a lot of times and that one is popular enough that quite a few other adults are familiar with it. But not all.
That's such a neat song to listen to. I've listened to it on youtube in the background...
Well there was recently another SS question on "Millionaire" but too bad it was another piece of cake. (There all easy for us muppet experts here, of course, but this was an easy one for the general public too). It was only a $500 question.
What Sesame Street character has an alter ego who...
Thanks Mokeystar.
Neat also that you two met since you are both on opposite coasts (WA and NJ).
I think Beauregard also met several people here. I think Vibs might have been one of them.
Take a look at this post from fuzzygobo. It was a pretty funny one and still is! Mostly...
Wow that is neat you got to meet her in person. And neat whenever I've heard of such a thing here. Like fuzzygobo and Mokeystar met, I believe. And I recall Fozzie Bear saying he met Whatever once. And I think TOGA and Prawnie met (maybe many times even, since they live in the same state and...
Thanks Bear. Considering the love and devotion we all have here at this forum for SS and the muppets, I figured a lot of us do sing and/or bring up the muppets to people in general in the outside world around us. I mean, we are who we are and eventually the things we have passions for can't be...
Hi Mike.
Yeah, sometimes I sing SS or TEC songs and people ask, "What's that from?" And being a little hesitant to disclose it sometimes, I'll say, "Oh it's a song from the 70's". Sometimes they'll say,"Oh. never heard it before. That's a neat one." But if they press further and say, "A song...
