i definately want to avoid that... there are apartments above us and id hate to have their convos broadcast one perk of our show is that its mostly pre-recorded... but our host/kid wrangler needs mic'd to speak at the begining and during dances and games cc

good stuff CW... yeah i was actually a dj for around 15 years and know the value of a good mixer and speakers! good tip! i was nervous about getting phone convos bleeding through during a show... what solutions or alternatives are there that would remedy the chance of that? cc

let me preface this by saying that i am by no means a cheapskate... but the costs of opening the theater continue to mount up. that being said i am in the market for a wireless mic set up and was wondering if you guys think this would suffice for a small venue...

good ideas creaturework... thats one thing i learned from famed documentarian Errol Morris.... he always said...ask the question...then SHUT UP....and no matter how akward the silence....stay quiet... then the subjects feel compelled to fill the void with babble...lol...some of his best footage...

i think your DEAD ON marc... or maybe they are simply hiding the inner child-like glee that they are immediately feeling inside at the mere thought of puppets by shielding it with a reference to something more adult based... more a self hate issue than projected pity...lol... maybe even a bit...

absolutely MP believe it or not i met with Ben (the muppaphone) who posted above...and ive almost got him convinced to make the move...hahaha i also hired a 17 year old girl who is home school and absolutely adores acting and the arts... she presently does odd jobs and things around our local...
