That was really amazing! I liked seeing the cast photo with those young Muppeteers and Marty's how-to on the bats and butterflies, as well as Slimey. Also neat to hear he was one of the operators in "The Batty Bat."
I think this is a fantastic idea, and I'm looking forward to the next video...
This hit's also been really stuck in my head lately, and it's become one of my favorite songs from the '80s, actually.
I bet @D'Snowth would not like hearing this song after the horrible experience with weather this year.
Well, remember, even with that advantage though, that's one of the reasons the Around the Corner era met its demise. Too many characters appearing spontaneously proved too confusing for its target audience to follow. I know that's been stated here many times already, but I just had to bring it...
Aww, I'm sorry you're deciding to leave. You're one of the few people here who likes The Price Is Right as much as I do...I'm gonna miss you 'round here for sure. :-(
1. It was meh...didn't really do much for the holiday other than stuff for work. Had a bad cold that started during the Halloween weekend.
2. Sure. We'll probably go out for brunch or get food and dine at home.
3. Nothing until Christmas time.
4. I guess it was a bit slow. I haven't paid a lot...
1. Back in 9th grade it was The Beatles, then Pink Floyd in 10th grade, but since then I've listened to so much music that I don't really have an absolute favorite anymore.
2. Actor: Gene Kelly and Tom Hanks. Actress: Probably Sigourney Weaver.
3. Cinnamon Toast Crunch
4. Not an anime watcher...
I'd kinda like that, too. We really ought to get an episode/special where an international character would visit the American Sesame Street, like the one when Abelardo appeared in season 28. I think seeing Lola or Pancho from Plaza Sesamo on the street would be really cool, especially if they...
I don't know. Maybe the same reason why the old Survey thread got deleted?
Anyway, I always tear up whenever I hear this song. There is just something about Bette Midler's performance of this that makes it so darn beautiful.
This is a really good episode in my opinion. Getting haircuts are a common fear children deal with, and Sesame Street executed it with Baby Bear pretty well here. Plus, I love Telly and Baby Bear's friendly banter at the beginning, and Doug E. Doug appears doing a nice performance as the barber.
The reason I posted in this thread is because:
1) I'm suffering from a bit of social anxiety at the moment, and I guess I've been trying to overcome it by posting and talking to others to get some attention and feel like I'm worth something, but I must think it's not enough. I don't constantly...
I'm considering going on a long break from posting here. It seems that lately hardly anybody here ever talks to me whenever I say something, which I don't get. Do I not make sense? I mean, what the heck?
I don't have a lot of friends I can communicate with, and this place has been a great...
