Hey G, that's so awesome that you got to be there pressed in the tiny basement with those 15 other people...Or something less weird...Anyway! If you have stories, we obviously wanna hear 'em! I think it's awesome that there's a "Steam-outta-the-ears" Beaker and a light-up-eyes Beaker...That...
Oops...sorry. Had an Eat the Rich moment there, obviously. You were just saying that the SS babies are more like the Muppets than the Muppet Babies. Which makes sense...
And, yeah, it is a good concept. I'm just not sure why they couldn't just use the normal Sesame Street characters...I guess...
Woah woah woah woah WOAH. And I say woah here with a great deal of respect and politeness. But WOAH.
#10 Scooter? Really? He's been used in a great deal more situations than simply the guest opener...Remember how his uncle used to own the theatre? Remember how that meant he could twist Kermit's...
I heard that there's going to be a sequel, as well, entitled Death at a Wedding. Any truth in that or could people just have mistaken the remake, for a sequel?
I wonder what they'd do with a sequel...
He...Oh my! *stunned* I just looked this up and I can honestly admit that I never realised he was born in Hereford in England before. That actually makes a great deal of sense, especially since his Miss Piggy has always been something styled very much within the British cross-dressing humour...
Well, I for one am a big advocate of eating the rich to feed the poor. (Wait, that wasn't the main topic of this thread?)
I think I see what you're saying, MC does have a reputation for snowballing fun topics and entertainment discussions into serious, hard-nosed political agenda bent fights...
I was wondering...What if Death at a Funeral became a cultural phenomenon...It's been made as a subtle, black comedy in Britain, now its being remade as a slap-stick comedy in America...Will we see an Anime Death at a Funeral popping up any-time soon? Or maybe a Disney version, with cartoon...
I really didn't get the concept of Sesame Street Beginnings...Isn't the show aimed at small kids anyway? And doesn't it rather take away from the idea of the Sesame Street Muppets being ageless creatures to give them a growing-up type flashback?
I liked Muppet Babies precisely for the reasons...
I was originally going, Schmuppet, bucket, and cup-it...Before realising that, dah, obviously Puppet rhymes with Muppet...and...um...does anything else?
Also, is figgy an official word or just a description of Christmas based puddings that carollers expect us to bring them?
Just to follow that query up with another related topic...Does anyone have a video, vhs, dvd, internet-updated-type-youtubey-thing of this performance that we can see?
Bea:zany:{Is youtubey a word?}regard
You can still ask anonymously, even with an account. You totally get an option. Would love to throw some questions at you too, Bubbley! We all want to know what colour Jellybeans are your favorite, what kind of socks you wear, and whether you prefer carrots or yams.
Well I never doubted for a second, Mr Director Sir, so count me in!
Bea:zany:{And do send an invite next time there's a Fraggle Rock party, would you?}regard
Ooh, yes. It was a compass...That makes more sense.
Either way, I was a stickler for the book on that one (having read the book a dozen times, watched the movie with Christian Bale as Jim about...30 times and been in a play of Treasure Island) and remember being rather annoyed as a 14-year-old...
