The Sesame Street General Store was also at The Mall at Pheasant Lane in Nashua New Hampshire as well. But sadly, They all closed in 1998. At least The Mall at Pheasant Lane still has The Disney Store.
I also like the closing for Gilda Radner episode when they went:
Statler: Good Night!
Waldorf: So Long!
Statler and Waldorf: (In Unison as they notice that their hands are stuck to the rail of their balcony) OH, NO! (Struggling to get unstuck)
Anyways, I used to remember a street scene where Gina serves Pancakes for Ruby Monster (?) and a Glass of Milk for Harry Monster. Back when Gina worked at Hooper's Store.
I remembered those segments:'
U Really Got a Hold on Me (with Smokey Robinson and the Letter U) was a parody of "You've Really Got a Hold on Me" by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles), Thinking of U (Sung by The Beetles) was possibly a of "Here, There, And Everywhere" from The Beatles 7th album...
I don't remember it being annoying. It was awesome. BTW, Did you know that the beginning part of that wind-up toys, robots, satellites, and space shuttle, used "Manege Aux Tuileries?" Manege Aux Tuileries is also composed by Janko Nilovic (The same composer who composed "Portrait D'un Robot")...
Now, I have a question, Does anybody got the Blue Bird sketch? Blue Bird was basically like a superhero version of Big Bird. Blue Bird was a comic book character created by Big Bird. Blue Bird has wears boots, Has a shield that reads: "BB". Has a red cape (I believe). And has the deep...
I also looking for a library song that was written by Joe Raposo and sung by Norman Calloway (David). It went something like "In the Library, You will find, Books of every shape and kind....." I remember it was last seen on Season 29 of Sesame Street.
So far we do need a picture of Blue Bird or the clips of the Blue Bird inserts. I have been looking for them as well. It would great if some Sesame Street uploaders would post it on certain video sharing sites. But let's hope anyone has it. Blue Bird was created in Season 20.
