Oh, jeez. You've gotta be kidding me. Now annotations are going to be retired this coming May in favor of cards and end screens, because they're supposedly outdated and not available on mobile devices, which is the most popular method of using YouTube nowadays.
So, um, how will I be able to...
Well....this took me completely by surprise, but it looks like the channel page just got its first overhaul in quite a while.
It's "meh." Not much a fan of changing the avatars to circle borders, which Google probably did to be consistent with all its other services. I do like the new Dark Mode...
Yeah, you can't subscribe to your own channel at all. If you're searching and hover your own channel and get the tooltip, the Subscribe button is gone; likewise, if you're on your channel page, the button becomes transparent.
As for liking videos, yes, I really don't get that. I don't see a...
Guy #1: Hey, what do you get when you cross a young, furry red monster's name with a neurotic, magenta monster's name?
Guy #2: I don't know. What?
Guy #1: Come on, man. Take a guess.
Guy #2: I don't know! Tell me!
Guy #1: ....you just said it.
I didn't mind Courage being pink; I think it really makes him stand out, like PL said. It even says on Wikipedia (among other sources) that pink, together with white, represents innocence, so I think it was a good choice.
If Courage were blue, I guess he'd be something like this:

Time for the biannual bump for this thread. Just about six days now until the springin' forward begins.
What's notable this year, though, is that this is the first year ever where March 12th will be the beginning of DST. Last time it was on a Sunday was 2006, just before the new rules...
I've gotten into a Harry Potter mood lately, so yesterday I spent the day watching the first two movies. Between them, I think I like the first one better; while I have been more familiar with the second story, I just find a bit more entertainment value in the first movie. Plus, you can't go...
Eh, I wasn't expecting the subtitles for the other performers' surnames (probably intended for people who aren't so familiar with the cast members), but still a cool story from good old Marty. He's one of my favorite Muppeteers.
The only gripe I have with Billy's Ernie here is that he doesn't sound as "derpy" as Steve's or Jim's Ernie was...he sounds kind of brighter to me. I haven't seen much of Billy's performances since he took over, to be honest, but I'm not gonna start criticizing on the ropes of not sounding close...
WIRED Magazine just released a video today featuring several of the show's popular Muppet characters answering Google autocomplete questions. Quite a few interesting answers here (and I love Elmo's "BOOOOOOI!" bit)...
But what exactly is the reason for deleting it? Somebody left and wanted their own posts axed? I agree with D'Snowth about the thread also...it was a topic for us to share something that happened in our day which made us smile, A.K.A. made us happy. On the contrary, PL's thread is more for us to...
I've been curious for a while on how they make this illusion. They've done this a lot on Sesame Street both with beds on high-rise stands and on floors. Do they use like a real mattress but make a big hole in it for the performers, or do they have bed sheets that cover up prop boxes...(you can...
Yeah, I'm pretty much right-handed all the way with puppeteering. I can't manipulate the mouth very well with my left hand, and I'm just so used to doing it the opposite way. Coincidentally, it happens the same with live-hand puppets, too - it's easier to use my left hand for the arm and right...
Our first celebrity death in 2017...Mary Tyler Moore, known for starring in her namesake sitcom, The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Rest in peace to a TV legend. :(
