I wouldn't be so sure about that. I don't think this will have a negative effect on the franchise's potential for a TV series. Let's not forget this bit of news revealed last year:

Then, in recent interviews, people working with the Muppets teased...
Don't think it's THE reason, but it certainly is one of the many reasons. But sure, if you asked the performers their thoughts on these new shorts, chances are they aren't very happy about them. They are likely dying for more to flesh out with these characters. They deserve more movies, a...
I think we should just be happy that the Muppets are even getting a new gig. If this does any good, it will make Disney continue to consider a regular Muppet TV show. Another movie is too much of a long shot, so the next best bet is TV, and this is the first step to that.
No idea if the Newsman even made it into a final cut, but I know that there were a lot of different obscure Muppets that they brought to test out with the kids, and some worked better than others.

What browser are you using and what version?
Probably productions, i.e., movies, TV, or online videos. Folks like Kirk and Mike work specifically for the productions and probably wouldn't be involved in merchandise situations.
Yeah, as unfortuanate as it is, the Muppets have slipped into a really odd transition that's sadly leaving fans in the dark. In my recent interviews with Kirk Thatcher and Mike Quinn, we were sure to cover the fact that there are certainly exciting developments on the way, but they're taking a...
@minor muppetz So many great questions and observations. I'm so glad you're noticing all the changes. I'll address all of the issues in the order you mentioned them.
Over at the Muppet Mindset some days are generally slower than others, so those days tend to cut back more on articles in order...
I know everyone says this every year, but this was flat-out the worst Super Bowl Commercial year, ever. The only ones that were actually any good were the Esurance ones (especially the Walter White) and the Liam Neeson would be fine, if it wasn't a joke that's so constantly dug into the ground.
