Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I miss TMS reruns on TV, I never got to watch them (I was born the year they stopped airing TMS reruns in America :(), but I wish they'd come back so I could watch them without taking my bulky bootleg box-set out!
I think we'd run out of books pretty soon, because I can't really think of many muppet books to read, unless we're also going to read those 16-page picture books, :).
Whoa whoa, I just think it's lesser known, I'd be glad if people knew pigs in space, but it seems the average adult american knows a few things about the muppets.
Kermit and Miss Piggy's relationship
the muppets had a tv show when they were kids with celebrities
Just my two cents, sorry if I...
Even if the muppets do appear, make 'em do something. Let Fozzie do a monologue, let Animal have a drum solo, let Gonzo throw himself out of a cannon, let Piggy sing an over-the-top duet with some over-rated celebrity, and with that said engage them in a hilarious conversation, I mean come on...
Well, I'd like it, but so much could go wrong. The original pigs in space sketches were like 2-4 minutes or less, I think, but stretching that might not go so well. Plus, the public isn't exactly aware of pigs in space.
Actually, all I ever see is "kermit and piggy, kermit and piggy"
Interviewer: Oh Kermit and Miss Piggy are you guys married?
Miss Piggy: yes
Kermit: well...we are in a relationship
Interviewer: Who was this Jim Henson fellow?
Kermit: He helped me up.
Miss Piggy: I've never heard of him...
"On its message board, some people who have worked forThe Jim Henson Company and Sesame Workshop are members and have posted messages at times. Henson employees who are members (or were members) include Jerry Juhl, Jerry Nelson, Karen Prell, Terry Angus,Steve Whitmire, Jim Lewis, Mike Quinn and...
I'm curious, did they take off all Jerry's posts and his profile due to his unfortunate passing, because I've seen a thread when a member replies to a comment and says "thanks for the information jerry nelson", but the username he replied to is nowhere to be found!
