Spoilers, maybe, ish.
I saw over at The Muppet Mindset (plug, Ryan, plug) that they had been filming extra (or re-filming) some of the (SPOILER?) final scenes of the movie.
I wonder if that scene was originally written with just Piggy/Kermit, Jason/Amy, and that now they have decided to make...
Not to mention, Muppet outtakes are some of the funniest things ever seen (and add to the reality of the Muppets themselves). The S DC Almost Live outtakes are brilliant.
Considering that there is going to be a 20-minute subplot involving Wayne and Wanda posing as Walter's parents, it will have to have some sort of length to fit in the other stories such as the one involving Thog as Paris Hilton's new pet.
Interestingly, I rewatched TMM the other day and was surprised to see just how many LEGS there were in that movie! Legs legs everywhere!!! Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, Gonzo, the band. We saw so many full body puppets and legs in that film...I don't see why everyone was so shocked by that poster.
There was another variant on the poster released by accident apparently which said "2011". Still, I like this wider version of it with Fozzie beside Janice, instead of above her, and Walter next to Kermit instead of crammed in above. Also, no stupid Bunny on those old dudes.
Interesting, considering that even Jim backtracked on that one...And if they are gunna be apart, I'd rather believe they never married than that they got divorced or separated. Don't get me wrong, I too wish that they were married because frankly the other stuff is getting boring, BUT I just...
I just finished re-watching The Muppet Movie, and can already see a lot of cool connections from that movie to this one. Gonzo's plumbing, for example (I did not realize before that he wore that cute tap-hat for almost the entire movie), Miss Piggy's ring, the Rich and Famous contract, etc.
It...
Actually, I think we maintain the right to be excited about a failed potential future project that we all hope and pray will one day rise like a Phoenix from the ashes or a toe-tickler from a cave as a beautiful butterfly.

One important truth that must be recognizable about MCC though is that for the UK -- it is the #1 most recognised Muppet film. Anyone I ever speak to knows of the Muppets primerally from MCC, then from TMS. Almost no one has ever seen or heard of TMM, GMC or MTM. Almost everyone here watches MCC...
