Hmmmm...well, I'd probably have to go with "I Am Proud of Me". The main reason being is because I've heard "Proud of Me" way too many times. (But it's a nice song, and I don't have anything against it, overall). With "I Am Proud of Me", the music arrangement was a lot better than I expected...
I just skipped over to the 3:06 part, and I don't know what was even more funnier! The way Bert (or Beto, whatever the case is) perked up, the way he screamed, or his face/reaction in general?
I believe it comes from the 1993 video "We All Sing Together". But I do agree with you that there should have been a little more footage with The Count involved in this DVD set. :batty:
I've been reading the DVD Talk review every chance I got today. While this DVD does sound very promising, there is one thing that sticks out: one of the Classic Cuts includes "In/Out with Barkley". With that in mind, I watched it on YouTube, and it looks to be from the late 80's/early 90's...
Wow! Just 2 more weeks until Old School Volume 3 comes out! Like everyone else on here, I can't wait! Although, I decided that this year, I'm actually going to request it for Christmas and not watch it until then (unlike with the first two volumes that I watched the minute I got home after...
In addition to everything mentioned in the poll above, I miss how the episodes used to have an actual plot storyline, with all the inserts and stuff in between. Plus, I also miss seeing any insert from the first 3 decades of the show, especially anything where Jim Henson's voice was heard.
Sawing14s, or Gman, or BooberGorg, (or whatever you want to call him) has Episodes 56, 115, 123, 592, 597, 598, and 600. Perhaps, you might want to message him about trading.
Wow! Those sound like awesome bonus features. Now all we need is a list of Classic Cuts that will be on the set (if there are any), and then we'll be complete.
Despite it being an Elmo/Abby-type episode, this one was rather pretty good. Not only was I laughing at Telly's "Eye of the Potato" method, but I was really cracking up whenever Elmo bragged about winning (so far that was the best bad winner behavior I've ever seen in any children's TV show...
I too, had to miss out on the season premier (due to my parents having friends over for breakfast, and my antenna acting up). On the plus side, I got to see a few of the stuff that were in the episode on YouTube. I especially loved the "Five By" song; ever since I heard it, I kept playing it...
Like all all of you Classic Sesame Fans out there, I'm pretty excited for this long awaited release (does anyone else besides me notice that it's coming out exactly 5 years after Old School Volume 2 came out??). When I brought the first 2 when they came out, I took the plastic wrap off and...
I myself bought the "Best of Friends" DVD last Friday (I can't believe I didn't remember Telly being on the cover!). Overall, it's a very nice DVD focussing on the major characters (props to SW for using the full Super Grover intro!).
However there's one thing that I DON'T like about the...
