My dad called to tell me the news. He saw something on NBC about it, and he knows Steve Whitmire is one of my favorite Muppeteers. I only have one word for this. Waaaaahhhhhhhh!
Here's something I just found out. I was kitty-sitting for friends of my parents this weekend, and my dad told me his friend used to work on "Sam and Friends" with Jim Henson!
Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, and the original 80's My Little Pony (I lump them in this category, because it seems nobody likes these cartoons anymore).
Here's what's making me frown. I'm going to be away from home for the weekend, and I realized I needed to do some laundry, and now my washing machine keeps pausing in mid-cycle by itself, which means I am probably going to be up all night doing laundry before tomorrow morning.
Two fluffy kittens at the animal shelter where I'm volunteering were in today. Unfortunately, I couldn't open the cages and cuddle with them, because they weren't ready for adoption yet.
This is actually my third Fraggle Rock story. The second one is too long to post here (a whopping 25 chapters!) I got the idea for this one while writing the second one, however, as well as episode #3854 of "Sesame Street" (I also borrow a song from that episode, with slightly modified lyrics in...
I think EVERYBODY has done that at one point. I've never done it all over my hands, but I knew kids in my kindergarden class who did. However, I did like to peel it off my fingers.
My sister and I were both more of the stuffed animal and animal related toy variety, though I *did* have a Barbie and a Skipper, and my sister had the Megan doll that came with the My Little Pony Sundance. I don't know what happened to my Barbie, but one day I found my Skipper with a mangled...
I don't know them by title. In "Dumbo's Circus," Sebastian dreams he's running the circus. In "Pooh Corner," Pooh and Tigger are trying to teach Rabbit how to hop for a family reunion. Unfortunately, I have no idea what I did with the tape.
Finally, the final part of this story. Incidentally, the character of Tina does NOT represent myself at that age (even though the White Monster does represent my cat)
Wembley and the White Monster crawled out of the hole in the rock, and found themselves in the Gorg's garden. Wembley looked...
I wasn't born when this episode debuted, but I'd love to see it, since "The Wizard of Oz" is one of my favorite movies (if not my all time favorite movie ever).

I'm not exactly sure the origin of this, but I once saw an episode of "The Love Boat" titled "Love Me, Love My Dog." So I just used it as "Love Me, Love My Cat," because I am completely obsessed with my cat, Snowball (see Avatar)
