Right now, I have the weirdest mix of feeling happy for you and feeling jealous of you, but mostly I'm feeling like I want to camp out in front of the nearest multiplex until the movie opens.
Last I heard, it had been given the green light for development. Whether or not it gets the full production green light has yet to be seen.
I hope it does get made, though.
Does that mean you don't approve of my joke?
Either way, if they did make a Looney Tunes movie like that now (HA!), it'd get labeled a Muppet ripoff.
P.S. Drtooth, please don't turn this thread into another rant about the pitiful state of the current media. This is supposed to be a thread...
Okay, J. K. Rowling. :D
My favorites library currently consists of The Percy Jackson & the Olympians Series, The Heroes of Olympus and The Kane Chronicles, all by Rick Riordan, Beyonders: A World Without Heroes by Brandon Mull, A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket and Harry Potter...
Does anybody remember a show that featured a full-body puppet dragon and a talking apple tree?
I vaguely remember watching an episode once and loving it, but I've never figured out what it was called.
Okay, all my fears have been put to rest. I'm going to refrain from watching any more preview clips that come out.
It's going to be so hard! :sympathy:
Woah, memory flood. :electric: Watching that special is one of the earliest Muppet-related memories I have (I've still got the video my mom recorded around here somewhere) and it's still my favorite out of all the SST specials I've seen.
My favorite parts were always the international segments...
As much as I love the Muppets, two hours of that for seven minutes of Muppets sooo wouldn't have been worth it.
I'm glad I stuck to watching Halloween specials. :scary:
