Agreed with you! Also, you're ironically referencing The Beast From Beyond, right?
There's too much ugly going on here. The colors are eye burningly bright, the faces are just hideous, and the big fake radio controlled eyes make that effect look worse, they have Popeye forearms that look like...
I know, People using the TV to babysit their kids happened on my vacation to Georgia. I plan on making a separate thread for this, just so I don't go off topic.
Anyway, about the thing Oogieloves was based off, My BedBugs, I have some surprising information about the show to share with you...
That video reminded me of this:
But anyway, there are two reasons I came to post in this thread after 2 months of no posts on this thread:
1. In the past few months, I've seen two people watch the movie in public. The first was while on vacation to Georgia-a kid leaving the mall had the DVD...
My local radio station did a song parody about this called "C is for Crackpipe" yesterday. It was really funny!
Also, my sister first told me about this because she heard about it on a radio show. I first heard of the Elmo incident a few weeks ago while watching one of SuperGodzilla's "Sam...
Sorry to bump this up, but apparently, a Playhouse Disney uploader by the name of OtterFan25 got suspended by Lionsgate for uploading full episodes of Sesame Street, one of which possibly used one of the clips from the special, but I have no idea which one (I was waiting for her to upload some...
I haven't caught this (on weekends, I've been watching This is For Kids, Liberty's Kids, Animaniacs and Garfield and Friends) mainly because it replaced my childhood SATAm block, qubo, which I watched for VeggieTales and 321 Penguins and LarryBoy Stories. For me, qubo went downhill after...
I missed this, because I was on vacation in Lancaster. But I did watch this show when it first came out, and it was really interesting. The songs were catchty, and it was colorful and cute. And finally, Christopher Lloyd's doing something good for most people after Oogieloves and Foodfight!
It was accidentaly placed there, along with the Victoria Justice movie "Fun Size", whose proper place would have been next to "Ted".
Also, on my way home from my Lancaster, PA vacation, I saw a baby (about a year old or less) watching this movie in their family's (who was from Massachusets) car...
I can't wait for this review!
I found a GoAnimate video based on this movie. Yes, a video based on Oogieloves on GoAnimate, the only website where the whole cast of Bear in the Big Blue House scolds teens for peeing and pooping their pants, The Wiggles go to McDonalds and get fat, kids get...
I saw 10 copies of it at a different WalMart I went to, RIGHT NEXT TO ANIMANIACS AND MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC!
Luckily, I saw the trailer for this once with no sound during Katy Perry: Part of Me. And then I saw another trailer at WalMart.
Also, I found an article on the creator of...
I was cracking up the whole video, especially at the "I Love Sausage Patties" part.
I knew you would make this joke when I brought it up!
And now, an Oogieloves-related demerit joke related to this famous scene from the film:
"Showing your underwear in front of preschoolers, that's...
Not only that, that same wiki has, among other things, Wade Duck and Homer Simpson throwing tantrums, a random list of dead people, Magical DoReMi pictures with unfitting names, and portrays Aloysius Pig from U.S. Acres as God. Yes, there's a VeggieTales parody on the website where they say that...
According to the comments for the "Stomp Out Bullying" PSA, the first Oogieloves movie was filmed 4 years ago, so if DVD sales are good, they might release the others, which might have already been filmed.
They had 30-40 of the DVDs a few weeks ago. For them to sell out that fast, it's quite amazing.
That manga character's by the same person who did Himitsu No Akko-chan, by the way...
Also, I found this liveblog of Oogieloves that not only mentions this movie ripping off the Carl's Jr. star...
I'd really like to see this movie, it sounds interesting.
I'd like that to happen, too!
Also, another comic strip that got an animated adaption was Marvin, that comic strip made for mothers, but it was a TV special.
As I said a few posts earlier, according to a YouTuber, Iraq also got this movie, and it was the #1 when it was released there. Or maybe they mistook the show for another Arabic kids' show that was similar...
When I went to WalMart today, they were SOLD OUT of the Oogieloves DVD. No kidding...
I see what you mean. They never got around to finishing any other series they put out on DVD due to low sales. But maybe Muppet Babies could change their thoughts.
When I was 5 years old, there were plush dolls of the Muppet Babies made by Toy Play. They had Kermit, Mrs. Piggy, Rowlf, and Gonzo, and they each came with a DVD. I had the Baby Piggy doll and still own the dress she came with, which I brought from a store near my house called Grand Slam. No...
Well, when I was at WalMart looking for the Animaniacs DVD, I saw a little girl in a shopping cart who picked out 3 DVDS: Oogieloves, SpongeBob (for her older brother, maybe?) and another CGI direct-to-video movie about fish that wasn't The Reef. (which the girl held in her hands).
