I always take into deep consideration this show was not meant for me for the past few decades. I want to make that clear first of all. This isn't brought on by 'Member berries, so much as a resentment of how things have changed drastically since SW's new head. Resentment's probably a harsh...
I have the feeling they knew that Veep was going to be the award winner, and they felt bad a show with a message like Transparent wasn't (also, Black-ish was snubbed to here and back), so they did that thing where they give it various apology awards in things that it really shouldn't win...
Mentioned it a couple pages back. Had a surprising list of character returns on the back of the box...
Unfortunately, the only picture of the back of the box I could find was this:
Even Simon the Quangaroo. I mean, it's the wrong version of Quake (the Dudley Do-Right looking guy with a...
Again, for me it's like, what's the point? The cheap cartoons and lame dialogue is patronizing to older viewers who do indeed need medical assistance. If you trim the pointless "animated" sequences out, you still have one of the bland, informative, inoffensive commercials that usually run...
UGH.
Well, it looks like that's the last episode for a while again. Apparently Yoursday is now like one episode of Teen Titans and a movie. Great. CN's going to be a 10 year old crappy movie channel now, I bet.
I mentioned that a page back or so. This wasn't anything close to an attempt at being funny. Besides, if you have a family member that eats nothing but salads, you learn to keep lettuce on hand. Or should.
Still looks awful. Who are the cartoons for? That's MY problem with them. These commercials are for senior citizens that have serious joint problems. It's not eye popping, it's not well done, it's...it's just pointless. Why can't they just save the 2 bucks worth of effort and just go...
Bridget Jones come from the 90's school of condescending, patronizing chick flicks back when the formula of "women who have careers aren't fulfilled unless they get with a hottie" wasn't laughed out of the boardrooms where these things are conceived. With the exception of the Hallmark Channel...
This news really cut me.
Co-creator of Space Ghost Coast to Coast, as well as the voice of Moltar and Zorak has died.
Here's his memorable appearance as Dr. Weird.
Yeah. The Burns family. Can't imagine why I got the name confused.
I'm loving the fact that RID and Rescue Bots are keeping even closer continuity with each other than Prime. There was one episode connecting to the Cybertronian artifact collecting arc from Prime, and Optimus and a mute...
The second film famously removed Casey Jones in favor of a generic teenage ninja boy who adds nothing to the movie. Possibly because Casey resembled Jason when he was wearing his hockey mask, or because he used sports equipment as weaponry, which is imitable. Either way, he was restored in the...
I've always said that ratings were now a stupid marketing ploy. I've been complaining about films from other ends of the spectrum for years now. PG is now G with a 'tude. The only studio that can get away with a G movie and make any money out of them is Pixar, and only because they're Pixar...
Several episodes later, we have a full blown crossover with a Robots in Disguise character...Sideswipe. Hunting down the first Decepticon to ever set foot in Rescue Bots, a mini-con named Bounce. Indeed this was the first time the term "Decepticon" was even uttered in Rescue Bots, but only...
I think they're just doing it for the sake of the joke. There wouldn't be a point otherwise, but seems to me they know it's annoying and pointless and that's part of the bit. Yesterday's episode about Lincoln ditching Football showed the father in a mascot uniform and the mascot's tail...
They clearly can do more with Foop than they can Poof. Don't see why they didn't have a single Poof and Foop at Fairy School episode so far this season. Those have been more interesting than the Timmy aspect of the show.
To be fair, Adventure Time has been given 9 seasons and Regular Show has 8. While I'd rather not see them end, I can see why both are. Don't see why they're ending Gumball at season 6 considering the show, combined with TTG is most of the freaking line up. Heard rumblings about Steven...
Seems the comic book spinoff is filling up some missing pieces of the TV show, and I kinda hope they sync up. According to Oni Press's December Solicitations, Jerry is going to meet back up with Doofus Rick, only to find another character from his dimension:
Back to the subject of FOP, they finally showed more of this season this and next week. I'm...ehhhhh I guess? I think the real problem is they're stuck in a huge Crocker rut. There are so many other of their villains in the show, and it just feels like they're just using him way too much this...
Yikes. Didn't realize the books were 20 years old by the time this movie comes out. Glad to see that Dreamworks has kept up on it and didn't just abandon it like B.O.O. and Me and my Shadow.
But Trolls they kept around....
Hopefully, Dreamworks won't get blasted for the movie being...
