Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
"Hi Sam". That's close? 40 years and "Hi Sam" is the only interaction we've had between the two.
It's like the writers were just throwing darts at pictures of the Muppets and they're like "alright, let's make a new couple". It was gonna be either :flirt: or Yolanda, and they're just like "Oh...
I think other than Kermit she's only named Scooter, Beaker and Chef so far. I don't even know if Chef counts. That's just like if she called Fozzie "bear". Even in the first episode, when Fozzie called her she was like "Who are you?". I don't remember that being part of Piggy's character. My...
*jaw drops*
That Fozzie looks a million times better than the one being used on the new show.
There is literally no difference between your puppets and the official ones.
How much do these puppets sell for? All of the links are broken.
I skimmed the episode and there were a lot of chuckle moments but nothing that stood out above the rest for me. "Kermit, be a hero and get me 1/8th of an Advil" was good.
She likes all of the weirdos... except Gonzo. She can't remember his name.
, :hungry:... she likes all of the people who can't talk back to her. :D
I mean, chances are if you're on this forum you're a "true fan", whatever that is.
There have been like a million good parts in the show so far. I would have to rewatch the episodes to list them. Rowlf biting his stitches was a highlight for me.
I actually think the episodes get better with...
Then again, why has Animal only had like one line out of four episodes?
See, but there's a difference between being not too nice, as Frank's referring to, and being the heartless b*st*rds they have sometimes been depicted as in this show.
Anyway, all great points.
I kind of thought Janice/Sam...
These look great, though it's a shame Palisades already did it and did it in an unsurpassable fashion (it's not actually a shame, but you know what I mean). I was thinking the other day that this is kind of silly to do when Palisades already did it.
I can agree with you, though I was genuinely...
That is a weird part of the show.
I wonder if they've thought about it that much, but something's told me they haven't thought about it at all.
That would've been a good closer to the episode (having him stumbling around, looking for his glasses).
I don't get why you are trying to hammer this...
Every time I hear Fozzie and Piggy it's like I'm hearing a parody of them. And I finally figured out what's wrong with the Fozzie puppet. His cheekbones are too big or something. He looks like a clown.
I know the subject's been beaten over the head, but why are they constraining the Muppets...
Not to beat the point over the head, but they look like the Muppets, but they aren't really the Muppets. It's like if you took your body and put someone else's brain in there, it's no longer you. I am not saying this to complain about the new show, but these are just the facts.
It's like they...
