Eye exam in the morning; then several hours this afternoon continuing prep in our garden plot. I pulled weeds (dandelions apparently think they're carrots), helped install some edging along one border, squeed over finding a tiny toad, and lugged bucket after bucket of mulch and spread it over...

Oh yikes! Yeah, it helps to learn on a closed course. I was terrified of driving my first few months. I've been in one fender bender (at 19, broke a toe), and had 2 cars totalled (neither of those was ruled my fault). But I love driving. Once you become attuned to your car, it's a wonderful freedom.
At work, one of the main phone queues went offline, so we were asked to help out...but instead we were assigned to a queue which most of us have little to no experience working. Chaos ensued, but very little hilarity.
