Heh heh... mischievous grin. It just so happens, for this particular mashup, Rita Moreno works perfectly. I'd already planned to use her.
I was hoping to find more actual puppets snapping to go with that one, but if you think of other guest stars who snapped their fingers, might as well throw...
Thanks!
Not sure about the Welch episode, but as soon as you said "Fozzie", I remembered the "I Got Rhythm" number, where he tries to snap in time to Rowlf's piano playing.
Keep 'em coming, everybody. I can use three or four, and do it as a finger-snapping montage.

When the spaceship lands, there's an Alien Gonzo in a mask, who tells Gonzo to step into the light.
Who does that voice?
It's electronically altered, so it's hard to say, but to me it *almost* sounds like Jeffrey Tambor, which would be a cool 'extra' role for him.
Probably Bill Barretta...
The link for Sam the American Eagle in the first post is no longer any good. That version was removed by the user, possibly to tweak the edit.

Neat idea for videos. They need less text in between the voice clips, in my...
Can't take credit for that one... he's a recent acquisition via eBay.
He came in a Disney Parks-exclusive set of five "Muppet*Vision 3-D" vinyl figurines. Each one of them is sculpted as a different filmmaking job; Bean is the makeup artist, with a big powder puff in his left hand and a...
Found this guy in the shelf just now with Fozziddler... since I was using a Tux Fozzie for a custom back in December, I decided to customize his Chucky accessory while I was at it. Forgot I never took a picture of it because I didn't feel like dragging out the right backdrop while boxing stuff...
I bought a loose Superhero Scooter just for his glasses (there was a simultaneous auction by a different seller for a regular Scooter with no specs) so while I was cannibalizing him for parts, I ripped off the hat to show ya what's underneath it...
Saltine revisited... now with beaded fringe to her skirt.

Yep. I wrote an article for Star Wars Insider magazine a couple of years ago, about the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, in which Carney guest-stars as Trader Saun Dan. Throughout the special, Saun Dan does many bits of business that Honeymooners fans will recognize.
A friend provided me a...
I also like the gag in one of the documentaries where Dave Goelz and Steve Whitmire are talking about puppeteering being uncomfortable... smash cut to Rizzo saying, "Oh yeah? How would you like to have someone's hand up your---" and Gonzo interjects "Back!" as a panicked precaution.
I mean...
Pass!
The rubber deterioration makes that look like a zombie Baby Sinclair. I'd be just too creeped out to have it around the house.
I can just imagine waking up with it sitting over me with a frying pan, growling hoarsely: "Not the mama... not the mama... BRAAAAINS!"
I'll just stick with...
I do improv comedy, and in our troupe we have different styles and approaches. When we do shows that are kid-friendly, we have a loose rule about "walking up to the line" but not crossing it.
If you can get RIGHT to the edge of the adult reference, so that it's actually completed in the mind...
Okay, I vaguely recall the Cookie Monster/bulldozer PSA, what a time warp! But I don't think I ever saw those Polaroid commercials, especially not the two with Mariette Hartley.
Awesome stuff.

One of my favorites...

This particular version was one I spliced back together from two slightly incomplete ones.

Yep, that was the whole point of the exercise. To show that a 'flawless' telling of the joke could never match the hilarity of their frustration at messing it up.
Oddly enough, I logged onto YouTube last night and had a message from a young man saying "Do more Muppet Show alternate takes."
