I want someone to sing "When the River Meets the Sea" at my funeral.
Not only is it a beautiful song, my last name is one of the words in the lyrics.

Hugs him protectively, or uses him for a shield?

I'd say that's in the eye of the beholder.

I recently played the Voice of God in a stage skit. It's always fun to do offstage voices because you don't have to learn the lines, there's no blocking, and it doesn't matter what you wear... as I have learned in playing the voice of Audrey II in three productions of 'Little Shop of Horrors'...
Close enough!
It is indeed Link Hogthrob.
I was actually consulting the "Let's Dance the Last Dance" number from the Lesley Ann Warren episode, at the commissioner's request... but you're right. It does look almost identical to the shirt and scarf he wears in the "I Talk to the Trees" song...
I'm trying to burn my own "Muppets from Space" CD, combining the songs and the score, BUT in their proper order as heard in the film.
Here's what I've got so far:
Main Titles/The Ark
Brick House
Gonzo's Lament
Singer's Theme
Through the Stars
Shining Star
Get Up Offa That Thing
Fanatics for...
I know some folks who've done that with Star Wars prototypes, but I find more often that once someone spends that much money on an unreleased item, they're very hesitant to give others the chance to own a copy for less. Whether fear of devaluing their investment or just crazy Daffy Duck greed, I...
Wow, those are obscure. I only found one photo of these "push puppets" online:

3-D Animators, they were called. And they only...

This is a commission project, but I'm also doing one for myself simultaneously.
Anyone care to...
I can't get a couple of the links to work, but I'm amazed at the checker pattern you painted, especially on such a small figure.
Hey, I gotta ask, where did you get that 4"-scaled Beaker? That would come in really handy for a photonovel I've got planned.
Keep 'em coming!

What store in your mall?
I had to special order Dog City, and I found one copy of Sesame Street: 20 Years and Still Counting at Target.
Oh, and then a couple of days ago, I found a Dog City on the shelf at K-mart.
Really want this!

I just had a thought...
If Palisades had actually been able to go forward with this line, I have no doubt what one of their exclusive variants would have been...
Wound up with some extras when I was trying to replace what the movers lost 35 years ago!
I can't get the link to work, but it's item #160463782960

Neat, I never saw those before. I remember always wanting the windup Doozers that were advertised in Muppet Magazine, but I never did order any.

I bought some adhesive magnetic sheets at Hobby Lobby and gave this a try yesterday, and it worked better than I thought. It's so fun to just swap the posters everytime I walk by. You can even put the big posters in the small poster spaces this way.
I also saw some magnetic sheets at Office...
Thanks to a successful trade with Jivepuppet, I now have a fairly complete set of Muppet Show Shrinky Dinks, and I have to agree with you dwmckim. These were awesome!
I scanned them all and posted the pic to the Muppet Wiki:
