Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
I really do like Jerry Nelson's work. When he's doing the cool Floyd on the Muppet Show, characters like The Count, Herry, and Biff on SS, Gobo, Paw Gorg, and the Trash Heap on Fraggle Rock, and Emmett Otter in that special. :)
Jerry is also talented as a voice actor and a singer besides a...
Hey Kaye68, who goes by the name Fuzzygobo. :) It's good to hear from you again. :) I do remember all our old SS YL posts and Revati who was nice enough to mail me some old SS clips.
A SS bowling team does sound neat too. :)

I always thought it was funny how Harvey had this running gag of slamming letter and number stickers on people's shirts. And how some of his jokes sometimes backfires.
I'm just imagining him back on the Street playing pranks on people like Big Bird, Snuffy, and probably some of the real-live...
I remember Pepe the King Prawn making his first appearance on Muppets Tongiht. He and an elephant named Seymour usually worked either the elevator or in the cafeteria. And they always had this singing and comedy act that wasn't very successful.
Now it seems like they've gotten rid of...
I remember there was a practical joking muppet on SS named Harvey Kneeslapper performed by Frank Oz. Harvey was always playing pranks on people, mostly Fat Blue, and was laughing really loud. But those loud laughs were hard on Frank's voice, so the muppet was no longer used.
If Frank is now...
That's what I was also thinking too. If The Trash Heap did fall in the well, she'd probably end up stinking up the place, and all the Fraggles would have to wear clothespins on their noses.
Thank you for welcoming me here to this new site, Mokeystar. :) And yes, I used to be a member of YesterdayLand, until that site sadly closed down. I missed posting SS stuff. But now I can do it once again here. And I'm glad someone remembers that wonderful, hope to see again, 5 cartoon as...
Oh, how so I loved that old 1-2-3-4-5 cartoon. It's a shame Sesame Street doesn't show it anymore. I'm willing to buy or trade to anyone who has this classic cartoon on tape so I can relive that memory. :)
I also remember when Lynn got sent to the dungeon. The sheriff, played by Gonzo, had these tortures planned for her. But instead he did the opposite and put himself in the thumb screw and the rack and made Lynn torture him if she didn't talk. And then Lynn left and Gonzo shouted. "We haven't...
I'm on a quest to find any Sesame Street episodes between 2 to 1000. I'm willing to trade some of the rare Muppet stuff I have on tape. If you're interested in hearing what I have to offer, please e-mail me at culpit70@yahoo.com.
I remember when Big Bird visited Make Believe on Mr. Roger's. King Friday asked him if he was related to the cassowary. But Big Bird replied. "I'm more of a condor."
I remember there was an episode when the Gorg's were about to dump the Trash Heap into the well, but the Fraggles prevented that.
I've always wondered, what would happen if the Trash Heap did fall in the well and land in the Fraggle pond? I'd imagine her rising from the water while all the...
I just thought I'd list all the topics I can think of that Sesame Street has talked about and taught us.
A, adventure, art, above and below, air, alive and not alive, alphabet, animals.
B, beginning middle and end, between, big and little, bus stop.
C, city and country, clues, cleaning...
I've always dreamed of meeting Jim Henson when I was a kid. And when I heard he died, I was destroyed. For the past few days, I felt a little depressed. Then one night, I had a dream that I met Jim Henson and he showed me a film how he did his stuff. And it made me feel better when I woke...
I remember enjoying The Christmas Toy when I was a kid. And the Secret Life of Toys was okay too. But I wish they would've kept Apple in it though. And I was also disappointed that Steve Whitmire wasn't voicing Mew like he did in the special.
But I'm glad Dave Goelz was there to do Rugby...
How about the episode where Red and Lanford the Plant ended up in that cavern with those clinging creeper plants? They were like huge octopuses that almost grabbed Red, until Lanford saved the day in the end.
Hey Super Scooter.
This Muppets Vs. Las Vegas script sounds like a great idea. I enjoyed reading all these ideas you and the others have.
Maybe I can contribute an idea. How about having Digit the android working in one of the casinos? He could have a device built in him that detects...
I'm looking for this old S cartoon about a seal telling a story about silly sailors on a seesaw. If anyone has this on tape, please let me know. Thank you.
I remember an old skit where Gordon wanted to swim laps in Oscar's swimming pool and Oscar kept making excuses to keep him away. First he told Gordon the pool was freezing cold. So Gordon left and came back wearing a warm wet suit.
Then Oscar told Gordon about the man-tickling clam that lives...
