Yeah, Ernie (and many others) were rebuilt for the second season. You can tell by Ernie's eyes, shorter hair, and his red nose.

I thought it was appropriate to make Prairie the Nursery Rhyme correspondent; she did have previous experience on "Fairy Tales Today". "Bert's Blanket" was completely unexpected. I'm glad that it was used; it hasn't been used in years, and it focused on Bert! Excellent stuff.
