For those of you who are not familiar with Sam Kinison, he was one of the greatest comedians ever, IMHO. He was mostly active in the 80's, aka the FR era. In the "Postcard" segment from "A Dark And Stormy Night", Uncle Matt stumbles into a big, scary-looking house, and is thrown out by someone...
I mean, stuff like TimePiece or Faffner Hall or Muppet Musicians of Bremen, etc. Or just anything along those lines, y'know? Hopefully, somebody gets the gist of what I'm asking.
This is by far my all-time favorite SS sketch! I found the video of it on YouTube, and I watch it all the time. It's the only scene from any Muppet project that makes me laugh every single time. So, does anyone else find this skit as funny and wonderful as I do?
Lois is the Woodland Valley telephone operator. I know she's some kind of bird, but what exact species of bird do you think she is? My guess is either loon or blue-footed booby.
EDIT: I'm sorry, I just realized there's already a thread about this exact topic. I'd still like to know the answer...
The legendary actor died today at age 87. He's best known for his roles in "Shane" and the Playhouse 90 production of "Requiem For A Heavyweight". Most people know him for his comedic turn at age 70 in "City Slickers".

Before I start, let me just say that this is pretty heavy subject matter. So, I'll completely understand if this gets deleted (I'll try to keep it as light as I can, though). I'm in college now, as some of you may know, and I take an acting class. Well, at this college, there's Acting 101 (the...
After a little less than a year, I’m finally submitting a new outline! This one, funnily enough, came to me in my sleep. Gwen Verdon was a singer/actress, mostly known on Broadway for her roles in "**** Yankees!", "Sweet Charity", and "Chicago". I like to think of her as the "contemporary Ethel...

When I created NDBT, I had a very clear picture in my head of what the characters looked like. They're characters that already existed in either TV or movies. So, to keep you occupied until the next episode airs, I'm gonna try to find pictures of the people that the NDBT characters look like.
Now, normally I'm pretty good at determining whether a female singer is attractive or not. But there's one that I find strangely atractive, but I need some feedback from some male members to confirm whether this person is attractive or not. She is a singer whose songs I don't particularly care...
This is a VERY addictive show! I watch it every week, and I tune in the following night as well (to see who gets eliminated). Last week was a complete upset (Vivica A. Fox got the ax :( ). So, has anybody else seen this show?
This is a great book! Granted, it's a children's book, but if you ever see it at a second hand store, do yourself a favor and scarf it up! You can probably gather what it's about by the title, but I won't tell you what all happens in it (trust me, it's that good!).
