Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
There's a new website about Playhouse Disney (which is where you can see BITBBH) that I'm pretty sure will feature Bear and his friends, so check it out if you want to: www.preschooltime.com.
Unfortunately, I didn't start watching it until it was shown as reruns on Lifetime, but either way, I absolutely LOVE it! I love Debra Messing (who plays Grace) but I'm probably attracted to her only because she has red hair. Granted, Grace isn't a very emotionally strong character, but IMHO...
I can think of two, but surely there's more out there:
*Cool Hand Luke- Luke is a very Christ-like character. I mean, he dies in a church (sorry if I just spoiled the movie :p ) and he has fellow prisoners "feeding off him", as he would say.
*Ghostbusters- There's the great scene where Ray...

I know there's already several threads that categorize this, but this thread is just my way of generalizing it. I read on some website that there is such a thing as a fear of Muppets. What is it about any form of Muppet (be it a :) or a :grouchy: or a :smirk: ) that can be found threatening...
The actress who portrayed Lily Munster from the TV show "The Munsters" died today at age 84. She is also noted for playing Moses' wife in "The Ten Commandments".

I wasn't really sure where to post this, but I figured FW was as good a place as any. Cyclia was an idea for a project that Jim had in the 60's (you can read more about it in Jim Henson: The Works, page 46). It was basically a proposed TV special that footage was shot for but apparently Jim...
*exaspetrated sigh* We had an "after-Christmas" dinner party tonight and all my mom and uncle could talk about was the upcoming Rocky movie (or as I like to call it, Rocky 6). Why is this movie getting such great reviews? Stallone is 60 years old, and there is no such thing as a 60 year old...
I've got three:
1) Monica Lewinsky! I know there's already been a couple, but I can honestly say that growing up during the heyday of the Clinton scandal has made Monica one of my heroes!
2) Larry David, creator of Seinfeld. We've already heard what Jerry Seinfeld had to say about Michael...
If so, tell what it was concerning. I've been on the news just once. I was nine years old and it was regarding the opening of my new elementary school. My dad paid the cameraman 20 bucks to get a few shots of me. Though, I looked like an idiot (I hadn't discovered the shoulder straps on the...
