    Tara Strong

XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS This week's voice artist focus is the talented Tara Strong. She started out as Tara Charendoff and did voices for Canadian cartoons. Soon, she moved over to the U.S. voice artists staff, then got married and changed her name to Tara Strong. My favorite characters of...

    Kath Soucie

Thank you, Fragglemuppet. I'm glad you appreciate this service and my little tributes to the unsung people known as voice artists. :) You'll probably see my next focus pretty soon on here. Trumpet of the Swan was an okay movie. About a swan who was born with no voice so he had to travel...

    Kath Soucie

I haven't really watched much of Juniper Lee. But I'll probably catch that episode one day.

    'Everyone Like Ice Cream'

Yep, that's why I gave them those names. :)

    Muppet video game question

Thank you for answering my question, Vic. :) I think I will get that game someday, especially that it has the Muppeteer's voices in it.

    Drawing in Kid's Books

When you were a kid, have you ever taken your books and drew funny stuff in them? Back when me, my sister, and my friends were kids, we usually take our Disney, Berenstain Bears, Sesame Street, Charlie Brown, or any kids' books we had and draw either mustaches, beards, or animal parts on the...

    Muppet video game question

I've heard about this Muppet game for Playstation. I think it was like some evil force was turning all the Muppets into monsters like vampires and werewolves and it was up to Robin to help fight the evil and change each character back. Does anyone know about this game and do you know the title...

    Digit

I also wondered if Digit was wired to the Muppetelevision studio and couldn't leave it. And I remember in the Cosby Show episode, Digit was connected to a mini TV. So that's probably a reason he's hardly even seen with the other Muppets. He'd have to drag some equipment with him wherever he goes.

    'Everyone Like Ice Cream'

I even thought of some good names for those kids if they did become regulars. The tough kid could be named Jimbo. The girl could be named Francine. And the sensitive kid could be named Carey. Can you figure out why I picked those names?

    A Full Volkswagon

Does anyone remember this skit from the early 80's? We see a blue screen and this gray Volkswagon drives in. A narrator said that this car looks like it's full of people. Then the door opened and out came a bunch of kids and the familiar adults. The narrator says, "Now the car is empty."...

    Digit

One short lived character I thought was cool was Digit the Android. He was a big part of Muppetelevision on the Jim Henson Hour. Digit was a gray android with wires for hair, a hearing aid in his ear, and he wore a coat covered with numbers. And was voiced by Dave Goelz. Mainly Digit kept...

    What about Bean?

Bean made his very first appearance on the special, The Tale of the Bunny Picnic where he was the star. Then later, he left his rabbit family and hutch behind and started making regular appearances on the Jim Henson Hour where it was his job to be cute. :) I too would like to see Bean in...

    Alan Young

XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS This week's V/A focus is Alan Young. You might remember he played Wilbur on Mr. Ed. Alan also voiced a few cartoon characters like 7-Zark-7 and Keyop from the classic Battle of the Planets series. And his famous role as Scrooge McDuck from Ducktales and other Disney...

    Hensonville Layout.

Can a video arcade be added to Hensonville too? I can put in the classic arcade games of the 80's. Along with Muppet video game favorites like Muppet Party Cruise and Muppet Racing.

    Jim Cummings

Thank you for understanding. :) I just found out Kathy did voices for cartoons like Jo-Jo's Circus and George and Martha. I've never seen Jo-Jo's Circus before, but I do remember some George and Martha episodes.
