    Criticism on Muppet likenesses?

Thing is though, the Muppet Style was created especially for Henson by Don Sahlin, and later Michael Frith. There might be quite a lot of puppeteers who use that style - our very own Terry Angus for one uses it a LOT, but should he? Should anyone else? I've been doing some thinking and I...

    My Puppet Experiment

This is funny. Whenever I mention "a puppet experiment" in school, my fellow students think it's XXX related. Back to the original subject.

    Criticism on Muppet likenesses?

Anyone here ever had criticism on your self-made puppets because they are too Muppet-like? AAARGH!!! I have this sketchbook in which I make doodles of characters I want to build, and characters that are already built. These are a few examples of things I hear from my classmates who are NOT a...

    Nose Hair

Hey, ya know WHAT's fun? Nose hair that's WHITE. Like mine. Like, the kind you can see clearly at every angle even if it's not too much hair growing. *sigh* I still wonder why I got rebuilt back then. I wish I still had my dark hair :D

    Copyrights

We Dutchpeople are lucky... Over here, you don't even need copyright. Ya already have copyright as soon as you create something. Of course, copyrighting it officially helps in case you don't want people to steal your project. What also helps is putting it in a sealed envelope and send it to...

    Ode to Rowlf Winner!

Congratulations Steve! I must say I really liked your story - Rowlf is my piano inspiration too! Anyway at this point I'd like to thank the "judges" for making my ode one of the top eight, even though I don't speak the language 100%! I feel so honoured! :)

    Scariest Muppet Show Moment

That song was "If" by Cleo Laine and the puppets were built/performed by guest puppeteer Bruce Schwarz. Wonderful song. My scariest moment is definitely the finale of Mummenschanz. Those faces!!!

Wow! That's great! Like, finally my hairstyle is considered fashionable again! :D The collectables section would be highly boring... all we knew back then were the SS records and "Books Of...", Rowlf and Kermit puppets, Wilkins and Wontkins puppets, Hey Cinderella puppets... It would...

    Just wondering...any Animaniacs fans???

I LOVED the Animaniacs! With the exception of some weak spots in the scripts (Rita and Runt, Chicken Boo), they had some brilliant stuff! Pinky and the Brain were my faves - "NARF!" And who can forget Good Idea, Bad Idea? "Good Idea: feeding ducks in the park. Bad Idea: feeding ducks in...

...Anyone here ever been made fun of?

I've been teased (just teased tho) a few times for watching SS, and every now and then I still hear sarcastic: "Hey, you watch Sesame Street every evening, huh? How's Pino doing?" But mostly when people see photos of my collection and my puppets (or they see my puppetry in person), and they see...

    Comparing different languages

In Dutch the voices are like this: Gobo's voice is performed by Frans van Dusschoten. He has a half nasal, half hoarse voice which sounds perfect for puppets, and he's a very nice character for Gobo. Wembley ("Wimmie") is a regular voice that can go very high and very speedy. I love this...

Catgut, Rover Joe and T.R. Rooster appearances on "The Muppet Show"

Nope, Leroy never appeared on the Muppet Show. TR often appeared with the chickens. Rover Joe was in a few scenes with dogs (#23 Kaye Ballard, #76 Dyan Cannon, #80 Arlo Guthrie and possibly more), and Catgut appeared in a few episodes, mostly series 1.
