I remember when The Odyssey Channel, now the Hallmark Channel, used to show classic Muppet Shows and Fraggle Rocks. And they had something called the Saturday Morning 360. Where they'd show 360 minutes of classic kids shows like the Archies, Zoobilee Zoo, and classic Jim Henson shows like The...
And here's the Sheep episode with the great Jerry Nelson as a guest voice. I knew it was him when I first heard General Public speak. :sing:

I remember in the early 90's when NBC decided to cancel Saturday Morning cartoons and created Teen-NBC where they showed live action teen shows like Saved by the Bell and California Dreams. Then they decided to go back to cartoons. Mainly with Discovery Kids cartoon reruns and now Qubo...
And the writing had Sesame Street and Electric Company like humor as well. They usually did jokes about letters and math on Sheep. And it was interesting hearing famous Muppeteer voices on a Cartoon Network show.
I remember that game. That was totally amazing. Each Simpson character had their own battle weapon. Homer had his fists, Marge had her vacuum, Bart had his skateboard, and Lisa had her jump rope. And sometimes if you made two of the characters stand still, they'll join together to become a...
XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:
Today’s V/A focus is that Cartoon Network show, Sheep in the Big City. A crazy series with clever and funny writing about a sheep who’s living in the city trying to avoid a crazy general and his army. The series was created by Mo Willems who was a cartoonist for...
Let's just hope that one day, some people will believe in the spirit of classic Saturday Mornings and try to make something new that will recreate that pleasure.
There are a couple of new cartoons coming in June that might have possibilities. I saw the sneak previews of them a few days ago...

People are also worried with 4Kids running two SM networks, that they might flood Saturday Morning with lots of anime. I guess we'll have to wait and find out this Fall.
Yes, it does seem like Saturday Morning's not the same anymore with cartoons airing at different times on cable, educational rules, and political correctness in food commercials. Which is why I spend my days collecting old Saturday Morning stuff on DVDs so I can relive my wonderful SM days...
Yes, I too loved Mother Goose and Grimm also from the same studio that brought us Garfield and Friends. And Charlie Brown and Snoopy were great on Saturday mornings. I think we need more cartoons based on comic strips so we can bring the joys of Saturday mornings once again.
Oh your welcome. :) I too like cold pizza when watching Saturday mornings. Garfield and Friends and cold pizza were a great combination back then. :)
And when I was younger, I enjoyed my SM cartoons with either donuts, Pop Tarts, or cereals like Cocoa Puffs, Peanut Butter Crunch, Lucky...
Yes, it did seem like when cable stations like Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network started airing new cartoons on certain days of the week, Saturday mornings of today just don't seem the same anymore.
But I'll always still remember my glory days of Saturday mornings. You saw what ABC...
Who here has memories of the joy of Saturday Mornings? :)
Every Friday Night after a tough week of school, I'd get to bed early so I could wake up early to see my Saturday Morning favorites and forget all my cares and worries.
And every year in September, I would look forward to those...
Back when I was a kid in the 80's, I was a huge fan of arcade games. Whenever I'd visit an arcade, I'd play my all time favorites...
Pengo, Q-bert, Super Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and Space Ace.
And I had loads of fun with my Colecovision with an Atari 2600 adapter so I could play my favorite...

XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:
Today’s V/A focus in the late Jonathan Harris who passed away in 2002. Jonathan’s most famous acting role was the villainous and cowardly Dr. Zachary Smith from Lost in Space and he even voiced his cartoon version in a Lost in Space animated special. Jonathan did a...
