XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:
Today's V/A focus are those famous computer animated candy characters you see on those M&M's commercials. When I first heard Red M&M speak, I recognized Jon Lovitz's voice and wondered if that was him. Then in the later commercials, I noticed that Red's voice...
I also noticed that Squidward and The Chief from Where on Earth is Carmen SanDiego sound a lot alike. Except Squidward is humorless and grumpy while The Chief is zany and lots of fun.
XERUS’S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS:
Today’s V/A focus is Rodger Bumpass, or sometimes credited as Roger Bumpass. Rodger had voiced quite a few characters for years and did additional voices for Disney movies. His most famous voice was Squidward Tentacles from Spongebob Squarepants.
THE ANGRY...
There was this one Looney Tunes ending scene that was edited so many times.
Daffy Duck was dressed in a devil costume and he performed an act where he swallowed gasoline, nitro glycerine, gunpowder, uranium 238 and a lighted match causing him to blow up and become a ghost. Some networks had...
Does anyone remember this SS skit from the 70's?
Gordon was walking past Big Bird walls and he found Big Bird frustrated. On the wall, the words, "IG IRD" were written in chalk. And on the side of the door, two capital B's were drawn on there. Gordon wondered what was that all about. Big...
I too remember the different Looney Tunes collection shows growing up. During the 70's, weekday syndication offered the Popeye and Bugs show where they showed classic Popeye and Bugs cartoons back to back.
And on the weekends, they had the Bugs Bunny, Road Runner Show on CBS.
And soon...
Also, I've noticed that some commercials have been airing ads about getting kids into the arts. Like making their own inventions, or how reading books can take them to great fantasy worlds, or getting them to visit art museums and theaters which could inspire them create their own artworks. I...

One of my favorite episodes is where Spongebob and friends go out of the water and onto the beach and they become live action puppets on sticks. That's what I find so neat about this cartoon, everything under water is animated and the surface world is always live action.
Lately, they've been airing these quick commercials called, "One Small Step", where they get kids to go out and play an hour a day, eat less, don't waste energy, and go green.
