According to IMDb, we don't see much Kermit because Sesame refuses to make any more new Kermit footage in honor of Jim. Sesame considers Kermit the most frequent guest star.

Palisades has to make a DEFINITIVE Piggy. The series 1 Piggies were horrible. They need to take the series 1 Piggy, fatten her, and texture it.

I saw him recently on the NAACP Image Awards and he was extremely frail and shaky. He will be missed.

Well, our speculation for this special will be a lot different with the Disney purchase. I hope they'll have the sense to give the anniversary proper treatment. You need the Muppet Show. You need Sesame. You need Fraggles. You need Bear. As much as the hardcore fans love those minor...
