    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

That episode was awesome! You could definitely say it was a prime example of how they experimented with different animation styles, with Courage scanning himself and becoming CGI-animated and that stuff. The part where Courage sticks his arm through the portal w/ the ripples and becomes 2D is...

Sonia Manzano featured on Fox News Sunday

Maybe this will help answer that:

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

I guess you had to talk to somebody who speaks a foreign language today? Or maybe you had an OS problem and it can't decipher what you're commanding? I don't really get the metaphorical part.

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Probably the most humorous old school hip hop song ever made. I love the Inspector Gadget theme and the little "Michelle" bit in the middle.

Sonia Manzano featured on Fox News Sunday

I just caught Fox News Sunday interviewing Sonia Manzano in their last segment of the show. They showed a few clips of her from her early appearances, like "The People in Her Neighborhood" and "What's the Name of That Song?". She mentioned some interesting things in her interview, such as how...

    The "Explain Your Avatar" Thread

Changed to another picture of Baby Gonzo, from the season 2 episode "The Great Cookie Robbery", when he realizes the others are desperately getting hungry.

    TV Tropes

I've been wondering if I should ever join TV Tropes and start contributing, since wiki-editing is sorta my thing (I'm pretty active on Muppet Wiki). However, I'm thinking the site is more of a reference for writers and story developers (and the various examples on the site are written in kind of...

Why haven't some older videos been re-released?

So after DVDs started to become popular in the late 1990s/early 2000s, many Sesame Street videos that were distributed by Random House and Sony Wonder were re-released on the new format, and eventually through digital media. However, for some reason, a bunch of videos originally released between...

Sesame Street will continue to air on re-branded Sprout Channel

But if they have a rather bad reputation or have gotten negative attention from a significant number of people, yes it does matter. Case in point? Bill Cosby. After all the negative hype he's gotten lately, what probability would there be that people would want to see him work in children's...

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

I was watching a walkthrough on YouTube of the Animaniacs game "The Great Edgar Hunt" (the Nintendo Gamecube version), and I discovered that in the missions screen for one of the worlds, there's a mission called, and yes, it's really called this... "Fill Cleo's Bath? My A**!" It doesn't even...

Sesame Street will continue to air on re-branded Sprout Channel

Yeah...when I meant the show is leaving PBS, I meant in terms of broadcasting new, first-run episodes on its home channel. As far as I know, that's happened since the beginning, over 45 years ago. It's good that reruns will still be on the channel, but it's still kind of disappointing first-run...

Wabbit: The new Looney Tunes series

I've read some of the negative reactions to the sudden swap on Toonzone, and I'm a bit flabbergasted about this as well. I think Cartoon Network is really trying to get back to their Looney Tunes roots, starting with bringing Baby Looney Tunes back, and they apparently decided to give a sneak...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Yeah, I don't remember that pop-up player at all. It actually looks like it was implemented in 2010 or so, because the video shown in the pic was uploaded in May that year. You can also tell by the player bar (and I remember when that player bar was introduced on March 31st, 2010).

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Blame it on incompetent web developers. I don't think I remember that player. You mean something similar to the "Skins" in Windows Media Player? That must've been around a really long time ago if I don't remember it, because I have been using YouTube for at least 8 years. How long did it last?

Sesame Street will continue to air on re-branded Sprout Channel

So Sesame Street (temporarily) leaves PBS for the first time in forever, shrinks down to half an hour, and now it's leaving Sprout, all happening within the same couple of months? It's the end of the world as we know it. :concern: :grouchy:

    Learn Something New Everyday Thread

I learned a couple things recently: One, the ending part of the Alphaquest "S" segment from Sesame Street, where the girl says "We'll sail to the stars", was sampled in the Boards of Canada song "Aquarius"; and two (you're going to like this, D'Snowth), after seeing a bunch of Fox Kids...

Whoa, a stunning Animal puppet on eBay!

Well, even if it technically is a MR poser converted to an actual puppet, it's still a stunning puppet nonetheless. It's kind of hard to tell it from the MR puppet, in my opinion.
