Especially the ones on YouTube that can't entirely get the phrase "no requests." To answer the OP, I imagine it would be in 2019, because that's exactly fifty years after Sesame premiered. It would seem a little awkward if they didn't celebrate a huge milestone that year.

Don't give up! It should be a life goal to try to memorize a complicated and witty song. ;) Speaking of rap, though, I once tried to memorize "Rapper's Delight" from the Sugarhill Gang since it's a hip hop classic, but it's so long of a track.

I spent some time today working on memorizing "Yakko's World" from Animaniacs, and now can recite it without reading the lyrics! Now what to work on is hitting the right notes. :D
