    "Cheeky" Muppet Moments

Well, hehe, something I noticed in the John Denver "Rocky Mountain Holiday" special. At the end we see John going around to all the Muppets' tents saying goodnight. We hear them each say goodnight back (we don't see them, just hear). I noticed once that we never do hear Janice's voice and I...

Dance your cares away! The fraggle theme: What does it mean?

That's very true, there are good people who are rich, or who are leaders of nations. I guess the thing is the Gorgs are more on the dictator side of monarchy, with the idea that some people are just better than others simply because they're bigger or wealtheri, or who their Daddy is. Even though...

Dance your cares away! The fraggle theme: What does it mean?

Well that's one thing I really love about Fraggle Rock. Even though the Gorgs are somewhat mis-guided and villianious on the show, they're still part of this world's family. Even though the Fraggles don't always like or understand them, they still matter. And eventually the Fraggles will see...

What are the lamest, Dullest, and Worst Non-Muppet segments?

"Every day......in farms all across America......hum....hum....Hey Cow.....grass so green....something something....about cows....again......" (Lol, still love you, Cow film!)

Yes and I could easily see Scooter continuing this big brother relationship with Bean, like in Muppets at Walt Disney World. You can tell there that Scooter wants to be the grown up, but still annoyed that Bean gets all the attention. You know I always kinda feel sorry for Scooter in the...

What are the lamest, Dullest, and Worst Non-Muppet segments?

I adore the "Hey Cow" film, but I admit I always laugh at: "The cow makes milk for her baby. But she makes much more milk than her calf can drink." Ha!

Comic pioneer George Carlin dies at 71

I can't say I agreed with every position George Carlin ever took. But I think he was a genuinely funny guy and talented comedian who worked very hard, and made the work of comedy much looser. :insatiable: It's like Charlton Heston. Some people may not agree with his stance on guns. But he...

    Did Jareth change Toby's diaper?

::raises eyebrow:: Riiiiiight. Hehe just kidding. You're entitled to your version of course, hehe. I just feel bad because I've always seen the movie as an advocate for fantasy fans, and not one that tells them to just "grow up." ;) And I still want a boyfriend where the words "do as I say"...

What are the lamest, Dullest, and Worst Non-Muppet segments?

Well I have to say I adore the film of the flowers with the classical music, and also the infamous "Hey Cow, I See You Now", lol. Even though I loved the SS Muppets, those mellow live action segments are also a big part of my childhood memory. :) But anyway, non Muppet segments that I didn't...

    The Muppets and YouTube.com

I saw "Muppets Go to the Movies" on Nickelodeon years ago, it's probably my favorite Muppet special of all time. I also went to a screening of it at The Museum of Television and Radio recently. There was a little girl in the audience asking her Mom a bunch of questions. At one point the Mom...

Dance your cares away! The fraggle theme: What does it mean?

I think it says when life gives you worries, try dancing and having fun, don't let it ruin your life. :) But yes it's also to show the various species' differences and how they relate (or don't relate) to each other.

    Did Jareth change Toby's diaper?

Directed to Redsonga as per our previous discussion, hehe, I was just thinking something. The Labryinth fantasy story comes from the book Sarah was reading at the beginning of the movie. That's where it all originates from. And the line "You have no power over me" is in the story, it's not...

    So has Global Warming Resumed?

When I get the money, I'm trading my car in for a hybrid. And plenty of people already have the money and just aren't buying them yet. Instead many keep going to the gas guzzlers which are largely (heh) unnecessary and very damaging to the planet. The government is in no hurry to get away from...

Hellooo, everybodyyyyy! It is I, your lovable Heralde, back from vacation! :super: Thanks for all the kind thoughts, the vacation was amazing! Very relaxing, and I hope I don't get uptight again too quickly, lol. One nice highlight, I was taking a tour of this amazing garden, designed to...

    So has Global Warming Resumed?

The only thing I'm concerned about is people choosing their own comfort over protecting the planet. Like how some people might choose drilling for more oil in order to make the gas price go down, when we really should be concentrating on relying less on oil. People really ought to take the...

    The RHLC!

Come to think of it, not many of the other Sesame Street Muppet characters ever got in the middle of a scene with Bert and Ernie. But here he manages to add something new, give B&E something to react to and play off of and it doesn't take away from anyone's screen time.

    The RHLC!

You have to admire a performer who's secure enough to hold his own in a scene with a team like Jim and Frank, who were so close and amazingly talented, especially with Bert and Ernie.
