    The RHLC!

I sort of had a Muppet dream last night. I dreamed I was watching them film the "Never Smile at a Crocodile" segment from the Sandy Duncan episode. I think Peter Friedman (the croc) was trying to attack Richard and John Lovelady (the hapless frogs) in between tapings. It was all kind of fuzzy...

    What is your Scooter moment?

What is my favorite Scooter moment? Well, there's Scooter during the bike scene in TGMC, and his verse of 'Saying Goodbye (hats off to Richard Hunt and his beautiful voice),' Scooter doing 'Six-String Orchestra' and...aw, heck, any scene involving Scooter is my favorite Scooter moment.

    The RHLC!

(pulls up outside on bicycle, shuffles in while wiping sweat off of brow) Wow, place is empty today. I usually drink a lot of orange juice, but for some reason I haven't lately...but I do eat a lot of oranges, especially the little clementine types; those are to die for. But right now my...

    The RHLC!

You're most likely to hear laughing from Richard during the Swedish Chef segments, it seems. As an added bonus, during the SC skit on the Valerie Harper episode: right after a particularly audible guffaw from our boy, you can just see the top of Richard's head by the Chef's elbow. There's only...

    muppets on VH1

Today on VH1, there was a show called 'When Star Wars Ruled the Earth.' It was all about the original trilogy. They showed a clip from when Mark Hamill and the droids appeared on the Muppet Show (during Pigs in Space), and there was ample commentary from Frank Oz on the subject of Yoda.

    The RHLC!

(throws open the door, bearing a vat of ice cream - flavor: mint with pieces of a milk-chocolate-with-almonds Hershey bar mixed in) Come and get it! When I read that particular passage in Of Muppets and Men for the first time, I knew at once that the "young man with curly hair" was our lad...

    The RHLC!

It's just the way some people are wired, I guess. Some people go with their emotions and others go with their gut instincts, probably. Or something. Sounds like your mom and I are both cold, ruthless logical types...just kidding. :) Oh, and MBM, if you promise to stop firing at any guest who...

    The Muppet Guitar Project

That's really useful, jediX. I've been looking for the chords to 'Rainbow Connection' for some time now. A lot of the Fraggle Rock tunes are really heavy on C, F and G, with the occasional A or D, so they're dead easy. You can just pick up your guitar and strum along as you watch.

    My mother may have cancer

Here's a cyber-hug for your Mum. (HUG) Hope she'll be on the mend soon.

    The RHLC!

Hmm...I think it's happened to me a few times, but I can't really name any other specifics right off the bat. You're right, Skye. Intuition is a strange thing...but it is quite useful from time to time.

    The RHLC!

I just thought it was kind of weird that I had that kind of hunch about Richard, only to learn 12 years later that it was true.

    The RHLC!

(runs in wearing police-grade bulletproof vest, flak jacket, helmet and goggles) Hold your fire, MBM, it's me! (mutters something about itchy trigger finger) Lots of casualties out there. No one's died...but one's complaining that you somehow gave him trench mouth. Just wanted to discuss...

    The RHLC!

I can see it now: (A break is called during one taping of SS. Richard stalks off the set, wrenching Elmo off of his hand.) Richard: Stupid little treacly little waste of styrofoam. Why did I ever pick this annoying little hairball up? I have standards to uphold! (throws Elmo over his...

    The RHLC!

Quote from ILikeMuppets: Oh, poor baby. Whaddaya mean, my younger cousin has been a holy terror since day one. I'm an absolute angel compared to him...okay, so I have my devious moments every now and then, heh, heh. Sure, it was like using a Scud missile to take out a platoon carrying an...

    The RHLC!

You know, that reminds me of a funny incident that happened long ago. We were visiting my grandmother and my other relatives at her place in Clinton (NJ). I was about five years old, and I was playing in the backyard with some of my cousins. My cousin Bob (then about three or four) kept...

Any news on the New Muppet Show?

Yeah, if you're going to do a new Muppet project, you need a script and plotline with some bite to it. And NO meddling from fad-obsessed studio execs. Hey, I wonder if they ought to hire some fans to put together some scripts? I think that a lot of the guys (and girls) on this forum could do a...

    The RHLC!

Yeah, he wanted to make sure you were really serious about working with the Muppets and that you weren't there on a big ego trip. Maybe you could kind of put it this way: if you were trying to get into the ranks of the Muppet crew, Richard would make you pole-vault over a high stone...

    The RHLC!

(comes in with a batch of lime sorbet) Oh, yeah, there's never a dull moment when Richard's around. Cases in point: him, Dave and the sugar incident, all the impromptu shows he put on for kids visiting the studios, the water fight on the set of Fraggle Rock...etc, etc. And reading about the...

    The RHLC!

(throws open the door and marches in with two large vats of sorbet) All right, for Skye the birthday girl, the rest of the RHLC-ers, the SWAEHBs and...aw, heck, for everyone who wants a bit (plunks vats on table), one vat of lemon sorbet and one vat of strawberry-nectarine. (plunks vats on table...

    The RHLC!

Hey, happy birthday, Skye! It's your 21st on the 21st, how about that? MBM, we'll try not to post too much, but you know as well as we do that we've got itchy fingers syndrome. I'll save you some sorbet; I'm doing both lemon and strawberry-nectarine today.
