    Fave Muppeteer(s)

I know; I was just commenting on what would happen if someone tried to set up a 'Muppeteer of the Year' contest.

    The RHLC!

Right on; heaven got a little wackier on January 7, 1992.

As for me, I'd have taken the OJ but axed the donuts. But if you were offering, say, a box of freshly-baked chocolate-filled croissants... So Jane actually feels Richard's presence in the room with her...that's so sweet. It's official, everyone; Richard's now a guardian angel.

That's really good, Vic! And that does look rather like him; I'm going to guess that you used the FR documentary as a reference.

Hey, that's okay, Amanda. I know what it's like to be backed up and stuff; I write for and help edit my college paper. Not exactly a walk in the park most days. Your grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer? Oh, my...tell her that we're thinking of her.

    Fave Muppeteer(s)

Okay, let's see...we've got healthy fan bases for most of the principal Muppeteers, so any attempts to vote for 'Muppeteer of the Year' or some nonsense like that would end in a three or four-way tie at least.

    The RHLC!

I'm with you on that! And I think we can easily come up with 200 posts...I mean, if a really good RH-related topic comes along we can quickly fill up a page or two in a night. Chalk it up to itchy fingers syndrome or rabid fans or whatever.

    Fave Muppeteer(s)

I was waiting for someone to post something like this. 1. Richard Hunt. Heartfelt, hilarious Hunt. 'Nuff said. 2. Jim Henson. Why not? 3. Jerry Nelson. Man of many voices. But let's face it, they're all outstanding, ya know?

    The RHLC!

Guys, maybe we oughta hold off on the questions until Amanda's had some time to answer, if she wants to. But I did want to mention something; Amanda said that Richard liked to drive around in a robin's egg blue 1950s Cadillac. Now I'm no expert on cars, but I was driving back to campus this...

    The RHLC!

I know; there are a lot of musicians and/or singers in my family as well...as well as a lot of crazy uncles (my mom's five younger brothers). Heck, the whole family's off the wall. Did you ever get to meet the other Muppeteers, visit the show sets and things like that?

    The RHLC!

I know the feeling, Marianne. Last night my brain refused to shut off. So like a fool I sat up doing crossword puzzles. Okay, 18 across: what's an eight-letter word for being wide awake after midnight? I-N-S-O-M-N-I-A. Of course, that's been going on for a few nights... And no wonder the man...

    The RHLC!

My, my...hardly the shrinking violet, was he? But that sounds just like him: a fun, crazy and dare-I-say-slightly-psychotic guy. Everything you've told us so far fits right in with everything else we've heard about him. Have you read the tribute articles for him in the Articles section on this...

New Members: Please Post and Introduce Yourself

We've already met in the RHLC, Amanda, but welcome aboard! If craziness is what you seek, you'll get plenty of it here. And since you've got Hunt DNA, you're going to be really popular around here. Your uncle's quite the popular man himself.

    The RHLC!

This thread's heated up. Guys, give the woman some time to breathe already! That's okay, Amanda, insanity happens to run in my family as well. And we're also a big, crazy family with roots in north Jersey, so... We've read all those stories about Richard...never a dull moment with him...

    The RHLC!

Yeah, I read somewhere that it started with H. And I had a hunch that it was Harvey or Henry or something like that. So some of those photos must have been retouched, then.

    The RHLC!

So Jane Hunt's going to check out the site, is she? I'll bet she's going to get quite a laugh out of some of our posts. All these women mooning over her son...

    The RHLC!

Wow, it's nice to meet you, Amanda! As you can see, we're all quite fond of your uncle around here (some of us more than others; Sara, I'm looking in your direction...). I kind of figured Richard had been cremated, since St. John the Divine, I learned, has no cemetery, only a columbarium. I'd...

    The Great Muppet Caper

My favorite moments, in no particular chronological order: -All the night scenes with the whole gang driving around London on the hotel bus. -The bicycle scene. -Richard Hunt and Kathy Mullen as the hacked-off cab driver and the wilted-looking passenger. (These days, whenever we watch the...

    Your signature-explain yourselves!

I forget which episode it was; it was the one in which Kermit told Scooter that in show business, you had to be ruthless, merciless and cruel. And so Scooter decided to take Kermit at his word and tell Miss Piggy that her act had been cut so she wouldn't look foolish...and the intrepid young...

(laughs) Now you're talking! But those teeth are just a nudge creepy. You could try borrowing one of your dad's sweaters or something.
