Agreed. I'm not even sure if that many parents are watching like they used to. Maybe it is the post Elmo world that has fanned off older viewership(and by older, I mean older than 5)
Youre right...Zoe does seem vastly more independent than Elmo, and has a much stronger since of imagination...
...in the meantime, I believe my avatar work speaks for itself.
Land of Gorch, Jim Henson Hour, VMC, MFXmas, TMS, Bear, Sesame, Mopatop, Hoobs, you name it! I can make it;)
Oh yesss, finally...Luke has been gloriously dethroned in a foam and felt coup de tat. As Akasha(btw, where is she on here?( stands as queen of Palisades forum...all bow down before your new de facto golden hierophant king!
As newly elected #1 poster on MC, my first order of business is to...
Oh Debo! One's acumen of all things Muppetdom isnt a prerequisite to join the Cory Fan Club! Just a notion for wacky fun and a love of all things...well wacky! hehe
So to all with a passion, a dream, and a rubber chicken...hop aboard the new revolution of zaniness taking shape!
cactus top...
LOL! OMG, I so remember that! The days of a thousand Jacke posts...Kurt Angle/'Bert Angle' related jokes, WWF show reports, and endless amounts of Bill references with her cohort Emmy.
then the JWO took over...^_^
Btw, Luke said 'frivolity'. Hey, that sounds like one of my words! LOL
So this film isnt boring then right? It's just from the previews it looked to have a really light tone...not quite senior citizen matinee 2pm slow/boring...but still not quite as Minority Report edge of your seat insanity. Btw, anyone seen the true story on this? I actually saw a 20/20 thing on...
That's right, an undefinable post.
I begin by wondering what is the connection between Fraggle Rock, Land of Gorch, and Dark Crystal? I seem to recall Terry once mentioned a Fizzwhig prototype from Dark Crystal was seen in an episode of FR(with Gobo singing) as were some plants, etc.
I...
I think almost all of our favorite Muppet dogs appear in that one lost pet scene in Muppets @ WDW special. Though Im wondering...which dogs are considered 'creature shop'(ie: realistic) and which ones are considered Muppets? It would seem
the dog in behind the secrets of the Muppets(1989, JHH)...
Well, speaking of WDW...tonight on the Simpsons, they went to WDW and Epcot Center. And it was just hillarious...prolly the best Simpsons Ive seen in ages...they really stuck it to Disney(especially that last part with the high fence wire and overpriced gag) Also, I didnt know WDW has the Enron...
While I wish I could get PBS in, I am content with the more recent Sesame dvds I have. elmopalooza and Computer Caper just rocks. early to mid 90's Sesame doesnt interest me at all for some reason, so its good to see these post 98 dvds coming out.
But indeed, I love being bale to watch Nick...
Zoe is one of my favorites next to Telly. LOVE the colors, vibrancy, chemistry with other characters. And we dont have enough girl characters...Prairie Dawn/Anne? How generic can you get?
I really love the more modern face of Sesame...even Elmo is cool when hes working with others. I think...
I got a rather nice screen cap of Buff Beaker(thanks to, well you know who you are!) and my photoshop skills. Anybody think this would make a really cool figure variant?

So who are some of your favorite "alternate reality"...
I agree 100%. To me GMC is down there with MTI and Elmo in Grouchland when it comes to my enjoyability. However, would have to strongly disagree with your other comments.
You know, while I didnt care for The Score too much...I will have to say Frank Oz' directorial debut in TMTM still leaves...
Of if there is a Best Buy in your area, virtually all their JHC related dvds are usually $14.99. They even have Dark Crystal Special Edition and the Muppet original trilogy films for about that.
As for MTI...yeah I didnt care for that much...even though when I was growing up I had a thing for...
Indeed. The alien angle was just lazy.
For the record, Gonzo IS NOT an alien!
I say that because in q &a's, I think Goelz answer(as gonzo) is usually somehting like that was just a movie. Not that he wouldnt have good company: The Yip Yip Sesame Martians, Male/Female Koozbanes, Phoob, etc.
