    The RHLC!

Hmm, making the kids do slimy stuff and crazy things before a viewing audience...and this is before Survivor. I read about moon pies and their alternate names in one of my mom's cookbooks. Like I've said, I've never tried them...then again, I've never eaten Twinkies, Devil Dogs or 'smores. Mom...

    The RHLC!

Moon pies...I believe they're small cakes made of two round pieces of chocolate cake sandwiched together with marshmallow creme. They're also known as whoopie pies in some parts of the country. I've never actually eaten them. It said in Jim Henson: The Works, "Smart and unpretentious, Jim...

Top 5 people you'd like to meet in heaven

That is true; when I was a kid, it seemed like I was the only one who listened to what would be termed as classic rock. But still, when Mom told us that story, my brother's and my jaws dropped.

Top 5 people you'd like to meet in heaven

Too true. I mean, most of us here have grown up knowing the Beatles and their music. George and the others had that much impact on our lives. But this is kinda scary: my mom is on the board of directors for the local literacy council, see, and one of her cohorts teaches a fourth or...

    The RHLC!

Yeah, I noticed that Jim's name always came last in the performers' credits for the Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock. The Children's Songs and Stories video sounds like it would have been nice to see...after all, it is narrated and hosted by Scooter. Seems that Scooter makes a good narrator...

Top 5 people you'd like to meet in heaven

Yeah...a lot of my favorite Beatles tunes, like "Here Comes the Sun" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" are George's tunes. I had just turned 16 when George died. It was a Friday, kinda gray and wet. Typical late November weather. I remember getting up that morning, staggering down the hall...

Songs the Muppets SHOULD have covered...

Did they, really? Well...in that case, what about "Weird Science" by Oingo Boingo? Or "Dead Man's Party?"

Songs the Muppets SHOULD have covered...

Hmm, what about "Bette Davis Eyes," by Kim Carnes? I think I can also see the Mayhem doing "Unchain My Heart."

Peter Pan and Great Value Peanut Butter, DONT EAT

Yeah, they mentioned it on CNN, and the university clinic sent out a health advisory over the campus network. I don't think a lot of people here are going to be eating PBJs for a bit.

What Singers/bands Have You Seen In Concert?

Heh, nice pun, but "Fly Like an Eagle" was by the Steve Miller Band. :)

What Singers/bands Have You Seen In Concert?

Well, it sounds like they're trying to do another album and tour, so you might. My favorite concert to date is Ringo Starr and the All-Starr Band, whom we saw live when I was 15. I say so because the lineup included Greg Lake, one-third of Emerson, Lake and Palmer - I've been a fan of them...

What Singers/bands Have You Seen In Concert?

Thanks! We saw the Eagles about, oh, two years ago I think. I think the show sold out within moments of the tickets going on sale...and it rocked.

    The RHLC!

I'm kind of the same. People look at me and find me to be quiet, genial and pensive (which I am most of the time)...and then I open my mouth and spring some really sassy or witty joke or remark on them. It's more fun that way, I think.

Top 5 people you'd like to meet in heaven

Let's see, five people I'd like to meet in heaven, apart from God, Jesus and the Virgin Mary: Jim Henson Richard Hunt George Harrison Anastasia Romanov Katherine Graham (publisher of the Washington Post during the Watergate years)

Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

MN: I'm glad that's over. Storyteller: Me too. It's no fun having the specter of doom and gloom hanging overhead...but Boober would probably disagree. MN: Yeah, but Boober would never rejoice in someone getting hurt. Storyteller: True, true. Nora: I just spoke to Mrs. Farley. The doctors are...

I'm never going to wear contacts. I've got real issues with sticking foreign objects in my eyes.

    The RHLC!

Poor dear, I guess she doesn't understand. Guess it's all those silly people who once called people with glasses "four-eyes." My glasses make me look bookish and nerdy...and I am bookish, nerdy and proud of it. And I don't mean to brag or anything, but I had a good look at that one photo of...

    The RHLC!

Tee hee...actually, I do wear glasses, a la Scooter. Round wire frames, the style I've worn every day since I was eight and a half. As a kid, I always thought that people who wore glasses were somehow kind of cool, so that's why I saw getting my first pair of glasses as a rite of passage...in...

And besides, 'Scooter' is also the name I gave my computer during the setup phase.
