Yeah I mean I think they recognized that people enjoy nit picking and good naturedly ridiculing TV shows they enjoyed as a kid.
The first Scooby Doo movie did that occasionally and it did work. But more often then not the plot got in the way, lol.
Aw right back at ya! ;) Lol. Honestly the only remake that ever really worked to me was the Brady Bunch because they took it in a more satirical direction.
This has already been said so many times, heh, but remakes are just consistently bad, appeal to the lowest common denominator and take all the attention away from the originals which are ten times better than any remake can ever hope to be.
You're absolutely right that Facebook did not invent clique behavior, hehe. Bullies are always on the look out for new tools to hurt people with and the Internet is just the latest.
Though I am still wary of Facebook and it's calice attitude towards privacy.
It makes sense now, when Elmo is big. But if that ever changes, if Elmo starts to get ignored for whatever reason, he may very well take the entire show with him. That's what can happen when you invest so much in one character
Maybe sometimes they're trying to keep track of what that person might be saying about them, heh. Or find ways of using something against them. Typical clique nonesense, you know? ;)
Well sometimes they did definitely, but mostly writers were employees of the studio who got assigned to specific projects. And a great many movies were based on famous books so the ideas were already there.
Movie making back then has been described as a factory, and all the workers (writers...
Well if they're an established team of writers, I imagine they would all get credit anyway.
Of course from what I hear writers have threatened litigation if they feel like they haven't received due credit.
You know in the old days of Hollywood in the '30s and '40s, multiple writers would be...
I've never seen Elmo have his own section anywhere myself. I would never agree with such a decision because it's essentially a monopoly, lol. It's just never a great idea to have so much riding on one character.
Yeah don't bother seeing the third one; it was a mess. I like parts of 1 and 2 (mainly Nightcrawler and Wolverine, lol), but yeah from the beginning all these movies had problems.
Yeah that might be interesting to check out. Somehow I missed the original X men cartoon so that's on my list of...
Hehehe, I know what you mean!
I'm not sure which was my first Muppet movie. It was definitely one of the original three. But I can't recall a moment of my childhood when I wasn't aware of all them. So it will likely always remain a mystery, lol.
