The Bible and Love and Christians

I personally don't think the Bible's into politics. It's more into the individual responsibility of each person and how we live our lives.

The Bible and Love and Christians

I have no illusions about that, believe me. But I assume you have some criticism specifically regarding the Left as well? Not trying to be rude, just asking. ; ) And maybe the US should just let the two of them fight. But in that case, Obama should not be asking Israel to change its borders...

The Bible and Love and Christians

Of course not. But I will say it's ironic. Despite claims of not taking sides, the "left" often seems more than eager to defend the Palestinians above all others. And the "right," the ones that are supposedly so bigoted, are the ones defending Israel. Ironic indeed... I can't identify myself...

The Bible and Love and Christians

The way I see it, it's also the US and Europe's fault for turning away the Jewish people for so many years. And Obama's not too far from carrying on the tradition with what he said. Our country does have some blame in this and we can't just sit back in the safety and comfort of our little bubble...

Ooooh yes, OK yes I remember having Snoopy: The Musical on tape years ago. How could I forget, to this day I occasionally think of those songs, lol. Like the kids singing about Edgar Allen Poe, Linus and Snoopy waiting for the Great Pumpkin and Peppermint Patty singing "Poor Sweet Baby" to...

The Bible and Love and Christians

Honestly no, because I heard that all the time with no problem. Not that I minded, hehe, but just saying. ;) I do agree with that; their war has gone on long enough. For the sake of both side's children, it needs to end. But the thing is, Israel actually has a democracy and hasn't been...

Sorry but absolutely disagree and that's why Obama's not getting my vote. I can't believe the way he threw Israel under the bus recently. It was inexcusable. He claims to want better things for the Middle East so he betrays the one democracy the Middle East has? Here's one US President that...

I was in Annie twice as a kid and it was fun at the time, but now I get so sick of seeing schools put it on; show some originality people! Lol Wait, what's the other Charlie Brown musical? I know about You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (and yes it is beautiful :) ).

Your Thoughts: New Muppet Central Forum Features

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but I believe Abe Vigoda was in The Godfather, not Goodfellas. Just wanted to clarify. :) Yeah I figured other people might still have difficulties; I guess it depends on the computer in part?

Your Thoughts: New Muppet Central Forum Features

Personally I think the new format is starting to grow on me. It does feel like it's quicker, at least for me. :)

I think it is indeed important to see both sides of the abortion issue. I don't support abortion; but I do understand the concerns and worries of the other side (such as women not being able to support children). And again, I think much of this could be resolved if poverty was dealt with. I...

Lol, interesting point. That's a case of most people just accepting something as harmless and cute, without questioning any controversial undertones. Plus optimism was big during the latter part of the Great Depression.

    The RHLC!

Yeah I actually really like the new format. :) Oh yeah I remember that, lol, need to watch that again. You know the other day I was looking at old RHLC posts from circa 2007, brought back a lot of nice memories. ;)

"The Tale of the Bunny Picnic" intro with Jim Henson

Really cool to see the intro; I must have seen it on HBO back in the day, but I didn't remember. Thanks! I found a VHS of the special (sans the intro) at my local video store (not long before it closed, the way they all are, heh). They let people buy the older VHS's and after careful...

Oh you're right! Seriously, this would make an interesting thesis topic, too bad I'm done with school, hehe. Yeah that attitude really annoyed me. Regardless of whether there was an actual junkyard or not. Not every child is fortunate enough to have a nice publically funded, cutesy playground...

As far as I'm concerned, delusion is rampant in both the right and the left. ;) But back to the Sesame Street article, I really don't understand why this is supposed to be some big shocker. From the very beginning Sesame Street promoted diversity and the working class and had their Muppets...

    An Interesting Article

Well you're right about the manipulation; but how many more elections do we need to have before we realize the two party system is broken? At some point we need to take responsibility for our own country. Have to disagree there, in lieu of the major news stations that often talk about...
