Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever actually seen the Elmo's World holiday special. The year it aired was the year I stopped watching current Sesame episodes on PBS my local station only showed it once, therefore I missed it. Can't imagine I'm missing much.
I'm hoping, this'll be the second year in a row she's ruined my birthday. All so she can boss me around and tell me how to live my life. Is it selfish that I want the one day of the year that should be about me to be about me?
I just got home. She was very apologetic, though bugging me to go back to that hotel despite that I keep saying over and over it's not a good job for me, but she still made it clear I should get out there and job hunt but she at least wasn't insane like she was before. I'm still being careful...
OK... this is going to be a big one.
I'm typing this from a library computer right now. I think my mom has snapped. As most of you know, I've been stuck living at home as a college student for the past two years and I despise it. I am on a leash being dragged around by my mother and she won't...
Mine was, too. In fact, if you look around enough you'll find a thread here from last year where I asked people to contribute. But that's all irrelevant a year later, you can obviously make your video anyway you want, heck, I'm already thinking of things to say for your review.
Those are on the DVDs, there were two of them: One with Big Bird and one with Oscar. They are both listed as "alternate opens" separate from the actual videos. No clue why they aren't attached to the program.
I only remember The Wild because (aside from the trailer on the Muppet movie DVDs) my 14-year old self actually thought it looked good! Oh how I don't miss my taste in animated movies from my middle school years, where I convinced myself "everything that isn't released by Disney or 2D sucks"...
I have almost all of them saved on my computer except Journey to Secret Places (it freezes up my DVD ripping software both times I tried it) and the final disc (it was cracked and won't play on my laptop). So I will upload others by request. It's just that the videos take forever to upload on...
I just got the Amazon exclusive version in the mail, and I suppose I'll let you all know that the DVD that comes with this combo pack is identical to the 2005 DVD, right down to the same trailers. So, if you want "When Love Is Gone" in someway, this is the way to get it. :)
That was a terrific story, I'm so deeply moved from having read that. It has made me a better person and confirms the fact that I do not want this DVD in my collection. This is Oprah's Book Club material.
These look great but I won't buy them because they are glass, go on Christmas trees and glass ornaments on Christmas tree won't bode well in my household because we can't have nice things. :concern:
And this is why I made most of my friends (I use that term lightly, while I talked to people more here, there are very few I'd truly consider friends) through extracurriculars, where the rules weren't so as rigid as they were in the school setting.
Just found this on YouTube, no clue how this guy got it but this has no reason to NOT be on the Blu-ray.
(note the re-used Danny Elfman score from Beetlejuice near the beginning)
This doesn't have much to do with this but this reminds me of a time I remember once when I was in 6th grade, some guy was voted student of the month by a teacher just because he was a super suck-up to the teacher. I distinctly remember during the speech when they announced him as student of the...
