    New Muppet Youtube videos

This is EXACTLY the kind of viral marketing and guerrilla stuff Ive been hoping for for some time. It's great to see the Muppets utilizing youtube, as well as all the great content on Muppets.com Remember, the Fraggles ARE coming to youtube soon, as Karen Prell and Goelz will be in tow with...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Seeing Muppets in the real world mingling with onlookers...be it Pepe and Rizzo interviewing people on the street for "From the Balcony", Uncle Matt on Fraggle Rock, Muppets @ WDW, the test footage for Muppet Movie, etc always is the best. So...when a Muppet film is mostly filmed on stages, it...

Muppets Take Manhattan In Select Theatres Tuesday

In select theatres in California and Arkansas(sadly I wish there were more states), Muppets Take Manhattan will be on the big screen at Regal Theatres. It's playing at 8 different theatres in California, one in Arkansas I remember in 1984 being six years old, and seeing MTM at the theatre. I...

Angelina Jolie In Talks to Star in New Muppet Film

Indeed, hopefully this means bit supporting role, or bad guy. Given the insane attention to maintaining a classic feel Stoller/Segal is looking for, I'm sure this is the case. I always wanted to see a romantic comedy starring Pepe and a human actress...totally play it straight, where nothing...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Given the intensity for which Segal and Stoller have for this, my strong guess is 2010, *NOT* 2012 at all. (I'm hoping the Fraggle Rock movie will be out by 2010 as well)

In Development: Henson's Fraggle Rock Movie

    Fraggle Rock Animated

For poor kids like me who grew up on welfare and in the ghetto in the 1980's(heh), aside from going over to more well-to-do friends houses who had HBo...the Saturday morning Fraggle Rock show and the plethora of 82-86 era and 1988 Fraggle merchandise was all we had(FR began being reran on Disney...

    Star Wars Prototypes

Aw DrTooth, what do you have against urban vinyl/hong kong styled designer toys? :( I think it may just be a generational thing. I grew up in the early to late 80's(born in 1978), so I grew up in the golden era of 3 1/4" scale action figures and pvcs. The scale of the 1978 Muppet fisher...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

I agree! I've no problem with sex in the movies. Also some cleverly written "snarkyness" is good...the Muppets have definately swam in their own snarky sense of humor. I can't see these two turning around and writing a pure, "old school" G rated Muppet movie. I'd like to see a PG Muppet movie...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Heh...Superbad is an episode of Martha Stewart compared to Sarah Marshall...a lot of the movie is frank graphic discussion or portrayal of sex. Again, given I know there's a lot of family oriented people/sensitive folks, I thought I'd give fair warning:) It's pretty darn funny tho...I was...

    1. Wow...a lot of the new Muppet film will take place in Los Angeles? Excellent...I LOVE it when the Muppets are in real, non studio locations and in a big city. And theyll be using the old JHC studios? Too cool. I have a feeling they will be pulling a lot of surprises...cameos from possibly...

    Star Wars Prototypes

Exactly. Its like if a Muppet figure doesnt have an almost grotesque like sense of Mcfarlane detail and paint schemes, its not "good". Haha...which is funny, as I consider the 1978 Fisher Price Muppet figure line my favorite out of any Muppet figure series, and wish they would revive that...

    Star Wars Prototypes

I think we're looking at two different prototype images, as these look absolutely wonderful! I wish they were articulated, but for a 12 dollar price point...these look absolutely flawless to me. I miss the more rounded as a change of pace from the the Mcfarlane influenced Palisades.

Sesame Street: The Talk, Listen, Connect Video Series

Having seen The World According To Sesame Street, I just find it ironic that Sesame Workshop would go out of there way to go to war torn areas...risking life and limb to go to areas where kids know nothing but the horror of war, hate, etc. They try to go into Middle Eastern conflict areas, to...
